I have dry, sensitive skin and I find other shower gels very abrasive. Most shower-gels are packed with lather inducing chemicals which suck the moisture from my skin and usually give me rash or skin irritation. I guess you could call this more inert???
If you are expecting a large amount of sudsy bubbles then this is not for you. It lathers slightly but nowhere near as much as the average shower gel.
I would recommend this product! However, it does appear to be a more specialist product. It has definately made a lot of difference to my skin. If you have even slightly oily skin it's probably not your cup of tea.
The smell is not unpleasant but again it's not flowery or herby like a lot of shower gels. Personally I like it. The after-smell it leaves is different from how it smells straight from the bottle but it's still very fresh and clean.
Most of all it doesn't leave my skin flaky or dry. It feels smooth, moisturised and clean.
