Beware if you have delicate skin

Advantages: failed to find any
Disadvantages: severe allergic reaction

Have you ever seen someone's skin peel off in sheets? Nor had I until I took a bath in this stuff. Against my better judgement I used a sample of this at a friend's house. Knowing my skin is quite reactive I was only in the bath for a few minutes - but that was quite long enough! As i got out my skin started to peel - rather like those speeded up films of flowers opening on nature programmes, only a lot more gruesome. It was totally like something ...
...and got the damn stuff off as best I could, but I was left for about 2 weeks as though I'd had the worst imaginable case of sunburn you'e ever seen. The moral of the story is always always patch test. Even if something is supposed to be good for sensitive skin

Wake Up Your Skin

Advantages: Lovely, fresh scent, leaves skin smooth
Disadvantages: Finishes too soon!

I first started using Nivea products many, many years ago when they had only a short, round blue tin of cream that would calm the worst of sun burns. Since I am very light skinned, this became a staple in my home when I was a child. Years later, I used this same product to soften my kids' red, nappy rash bums. I was never disappointed with their products, and so when I saw that they were selling bath gels, I decided I should give them a try. This is a review on Nivea's Revitalizing Shower Gel with sea minerals from the Nivea Bath Care range. To tell you the truth, up until I tried this bath gel, I was almost only a bar soap girl. Why did I pick this one to change my habits? Actually, it may seem silly but I picked this one because it was the only one on the shelf at the time. You see, we were on vacation, and I forgot to bring soap ...

Minty freshness to invigorate the skin!!

Advantages: Fresh, tingly and cleansing
Disadvantages: Slippery bottle!!

"Tis the season to give gift sets, tra la la la laa tra la la laaaa", and I seem to have had my fair share this Christmas!! We were given "His and Hers" Nivea gift sets from an elderly aunt this year and we finally broke into them yesterday. Mine included a bottle of Nivea Bath Care Energising Shower Gel for Men, which I tried out yesterday, and this morning, and it is fantastic!!! Nivea have been producing their cosmetics ranges since 1911, with its signature blue packaging and white "Nivea" logo a well recognised brand on the shelves of chemists and supermarkets alike. Their ranges centre around skin care, in the form of creams, lotions, bath and shower products and shaving products with their main emphasis being on freshness and cleanliness. The bath and shower ranges are available for both sexes with the emphasis here being also ...

Nivea Bath Heaven

Advantages: smells gorgeous, soft skin
Disadvantages: none

I bought this in a pound shop, Nivea Bath Care moisturising shower creme and Nivea Bath Care Revitalising Shower, 2 for a pound. Seen as each bottle costs £2.50 in Sainsburys, I got a real bargain! However, it has lasted so long that I would definitely go and buy it again from the supermarket if it was available. The bottle is thin in a kind of curvy bullet shape, with a round blue flip top lid. The label is in the usual Nivea blue and advises you this is the new aquasoft formula with avacado oil. Avocado oil? That put me off a little to be honest, I don't eat avocado that often but I can't imagine I would ever want to smell like one! Don't worry, thankfully it doesn't smell like avocado, it actually smells rather nice. The smell is hard to place, it doesn't smell like anything I could name, but it is a clean fresh smell ...
