    Advantages Advantages Pleasant scent.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Isn't an effective anti-perspirant for me!

I only ever buy deodorants when they are on special offer and therefore rarely stick to one brand and am not averse to giving new ones a try! I bought this one from Sainsburys quite a while ago when it was for sale at one third off the RRP of £1.95 for 50ml. ~ What does the packaging stage? ~ - Gentle care - 24 hour anti-perspirant protection - Softens skin for a close shave The info on the packaging is somewhat confusing for me as in one statement it implies that you can use this for underarm shaving; ‘ with natural avocado extract softening the skin and helping you get a close shave’ whilst ... more

Advantages Advantages There really isn't any advantages to this spray!

Disadvantages Disadvantages It doesn't work, at all!

Deodorant is one of those things I never put much thought into. When I'm running low, I check into a supermarket or Boots and look for something on special offer, and take it. There are always so many brands, claiming this and that, spray or roll on, with 24 or 48 hour protection or having some amazing smell from the Garden of Eden... to be honest, all I want is dry armpits! I have now decided to take more time with my deodorant, as sometimes the one I am using is completely useless and at the end of the day my under arms are, well, soaking. At other times though they're fine but recently they ... more

    Advantages Advantages Nice bottle!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Didn't work for me, scent is over powering

I'm not really loyal to deodorant brands and just tend to buy whatever is on offer in one of the shops in town whenever I am in need of a new can of deodorant. I recently used a Nivea roll on which was fantastic, but when I saw that the Nivea sprays were down to just £1 in Boots, I had a sniff of all the available scents and in the end plumped for the Double Effects Violet Senses variety as a) it smelt nice and b) I really liked the pretty purple can it came in! Clearly there is no scientific process involved in my decision whatsoever but I relied on the brand name of Nivea and my happiness ... more

    Advantages Advantages works well

    Disadvantages Disadvantages glass bottle

When it comes to deodorant, I'll always browse the shelves and buy whatever is on offer. I have taken a liking to buying roll on deodorants in the last few months for a couple of reasons. They are cheaper than buying sprays, last longer and don't seem to leave marks on my clothes. I just have to get past that sticky feeling when I apply the deodorant, and flap my arms around whilst waiting for it to dry. I came across the Nivea double strength deodorant when I saw the bottle on offer for a pound. Too good to pass up I had to buy it and have been using it for quite a few weeks now, and the ... more

Advantages Advantages delicate scent, good offer price, does it's job

Disadvantages Disadvantages quite thin so gets used quickly and takes ages to dry

As with many of my reviews, it came to be that I bought this product, Nivea double effect deodorant roll on, as it was on offer in Lloyds pharmacy for £1. It looks much like any other roll on, it is a glass bottle with a slight twist shape to make it easier to hold and a screw on purple cap which matches the labels and stickers. You can see the white liquid through the clear glass and it has all he relevant warnings on the back, along with ingredients fairly similar to many other brands of roll on deodorant. I have a sports deodorant I use before heading to the gym, but for the sake of being ... more
