Advantages cleans very well

Disadvantages Guess. Yes, the price

I must have got this product free when I bought Nivea’s aftershave balm, or when I was drunk… Don’t get me wrong, this is a good product, it will just dent your pocket!

Nivea, like Brylcreem, seem to be diversifying (my Business Studies teacher will be pleased!) into new markets, expanding on their product range, and trying to gain a larger overall market share in the ever growing health market sector for men. (full marks?!)

Anyway, this isn’t a business studies essay so I’ll get on with it. This product is called ‘exfoliating face scrub’. Well, it does more than that! It says it ‘cleanses, smoothes and invigorates’. It does more than that too!

As I first squeezed a small amount of the white goo into my hands, I could see all the little particles within the mixture. This was a good sign to me, as I then knew that it was going to really scrub my face. It also has little blue ‘bits’ in it which just I assume just contribute to the whole scrubbing process.

I said in my recent Lynxshaving gel opinion that I needed ‘more than a little’ of the product on my face before shaving, with this product you really do only need a small amount. I used just a small palm-full, and this does me sufficiently. I massaged the goo in circular movements around my face previously wetted with warm water, and I could really feel the little particles working their magic. Concentrating on my forehead, nose and chin (the areas most prone to pick up dirt apparently) I really did feel clean and refreshed afterwards.

I have used it for over a week now, and I can safely say it is doing its job. I have been playing sports a lot recently, and have been doing a lot of general exercise, and this has helped to keep my skin clear.

Now, the price. As I said, I am pretty sure I picked it up for free when I bought some aftershavebalm. This was just because it was new out, bit of promotion for the product (could continue to slip into the business studies essay…) and this was simply to try and get people to firstly buy the aftershave, also to try this new facial scrub, and hope for people to buy it again. Repeat purchasing (did I slip into essay mode?) was the idea here, but I do not think I will be buying it again. I could play a little game with you here, actually think I will. I’m feeling a bit funny, even though the price isn’t a joke, so, tell you what, I’ll finish describing the product, then you can guess the price.

It comes in a little blue tube, doesn’t really catch the attention, maybe Nivea should work on the marketing of this product then…(slipped again) and when I say little, I mean 75ml. Not very big really. My normal facial wash/scrub comes in at least a 125ml tube.

The product is ‘moisturiser and vitamin enriched’ and is ‘dermatologically approved’ and so this is where the price comes in, as the company had to develop the product so much, the profit margin on the product had to increase (and slips again).

So, this product is very good. Ah, the title. Well, my theory is that, when two surfaces rub, both with the same properties (i.
