Shavingfoam is not something I take much notice off; I rub it on my face and have a shave. That is what it is for and as long as it does not contain battery acid I do not really care, which is a bad way to be as I have girly sensitive skin under my chin and can come out with a really bad shaving rash as a result, so maybe I should take more notice of it, but who can be bothered looking through rack of toiletries when you can spend the time comparing the heat of chili sauces????
The last time I did my shopping I picked up this stuff as it seemed to be the cheapest, much to the amusement of my housemates. Our house should get sponsored by Brylcream by the way, but it says for men on the can, so it is not totally poncy.
This is a moisture rich sensitive foam with Chamomile and Vitamin enrichment, offering extra protection for easily irritated skin and a neutral fragrance. The Extra rich creamy lather provides a closer more gentle shave, leaving your skin soft supple and smooth. Well that is what they say and perhaps I should have read this before buying it.
Onto using it the foam is creamy and has a nice warm feeling on the face which is quite nice actually. Shaving using it is just the same as shaving with any other foam and really that is all there is to the shaving experience. It does the job a shaving foam should, which is to assist the shaving process.
Now onto the after effects the first time I tried it I had a good 5 days growth and normally this would result in a horrific shaving rash under my skin, however there was not a blemish, even though my skin felt a touch raw. This impresses me and means that next time I am in the supermarket I am likely to buy it again as no other shaving foam has had this effect. The only other way I can have a rash free shave is to go to a proper Barbour and have a good olde cut throat shave but that is a tad expensive.
So it you are a man with sensitive girly skin buy it you will not regret it, or if your man has sensitive girly skin buy it for him and save him the embarrassment of buying Nivea products.

I rarely laugh at cosmetics review, but I did at that. My DH claims this stuff is crap and prefers the cheapo stuff from Aldi, fine by me.

Thanks for the review. I was considering buying this for DH as he has sensitive skin and wondered if it would be any good.
