Nivea Gentle Eye Make-up Remover Lotion

Advantages: It's fairly cheap and smells nice
Disadvantages: Doesn't work very well, and stings if you get it in your eyes!

I was introduced to Nivea Gentle eye makeup remover when a friend ended up with two bottles of the stuff, and passed one on to me. The product comes in an attractive 125 ml bottle and can be found at most beauty shops and pharmacies. Consistency-wise, it is a fluid, which you pour onto cotton wool, and wipe over any remaining makeup. Although it is marketed as an eye-makeup remover, I use it all over my face to remove foundation, powder, lipstick ...
...with this product, I find, is that it is just OK. With hundreds of makeup removers on the market, this just isn't good enough. I tend to wear a lot of dark eye makeup when I go out, and I never manage to get it all off using Nivea. I don't even use waterproof mascara, yet I always seem to be rubbing and rubbing at my eye lids and lashes trying to remove all traces of makeup. I am a fan of the blue product, though intend to buy the green when my blue one runs out. After buying 'Nivea Visage Extra Gentle Eye Make-up Remover' I was impressed by its performance. This Make-up remover actually does what it says its going to do and leaves your eyes and the tissue around them soft and refreshed not stinging and sore. This product did not work for me at all !! If I could, I would give this a zero star rating. I use eye makeup remover to take off my mascara. It did not touch it. I had just about as much mascara on after I used it and the product got in my eyes and I don't even have sensitive eyes...
