Nivea Nourishing Hand Crème

As it’s becoming colder and my hands are starting to get slighty dry, there not really bad but before it gets to that stage I thought it was time to get the hand cream out! I have a few hand creams at home but one of my favourites is this Nivea hand cream. I recieved this Nivea hand nourishing cream a while back in a nivea gift set which were all miniature products. Nivea comes from the Latin word nivius which means "snow-white. A little of the story of Nivea. Nivea began long ago in 1911 with the discovery of Eucerit, this was the first ever water in oil emulsifier and the discovery changed the way cosmetics and creams were made. This made if possible to make a cream that wasn't just oil that was stable and well mixed. I have used Body shop Hemp hand cream for a couple of years and when i ran out i decided it was time for a change.As a carer my hands do get very dry especially wearing plastic gloves all day and before i started using hemp my hands used to crack and bleed so i needed to find something as good. I know what you're thinking " If hemp worked then why change it?" Basically it's laziness, I have to go into town for the Body shop but if i find a equally good cream i can get it locally! As a mum, my hands spend quite a lot of time in water. There’s the washing up, cleaning up after spills, not too mention hand washing after all those trips to the toilet (for the children before there are any comments about my bladder control!) So, I like to use a hand cream after my hands have been in water, otherwise they feel very dry and not particularly pleasant. My hands were sore and dry. I had run out of my usual hand cream so when Boots had their extra points weekend I thought I would buy a small tube. But what to buy? There was a wide array of creams to choose from, from the cheap and nasty to the stuff you need to take a mortgage out for, well I finally settled on ‘Nivea Nourishing Hand Cream’.
