Well it came around to the time when the hand cream had ran out at work again and it was indeed my turn to buy the next tube. So while on a trip to Superdrug I noticed tubes of the Nivea Soft moisturising cream on display on those naughty little shelves they have on the que barriers that temp you to buy extra items. But as the cream was on offer I thought it would be ideal for work.

The Nivea soft cream was on offer at £0.99 for a 75ml tube which I thought was really good value as Nivea is a well known brand and the moisturising cream is suitable for face, body and hands.

The cream comes in a blue and white tube with a flip top cap, the tube stands on the cap meaning that the cream inside is always at the bottom and ready to dispense easily.

Nivea soft cream is described on the tube as being 'a moisture sensation'. The main ingredients to provide this level of moisturisation are Vitamin E and Jojoba oil which is said to be quickly absorbed. The cream itself is white in colour and rather thick in consistency. I have found that the cream is easily absorbed and leaves my hands feeling soft but not in any way sticky, I only use a pea sized amount for my hands which I find to be just the right amount as a little seems to go along way.

The cream also has a lovely light refreshing fragrance as with most Nivea products and this does last on my hands for quite sometime. I have not used this cream anywhere apart from my hands as I have kept the tube at work to be used as a hand moisturiser. But saying this the cream does seem very gentle on my skin and I have had no adverse reaction even though I can be prone to outbreaks of eczema, therefore I would probably use it as a body moisturiser but not on my face unless there was nothing else available.

I would definitely recommend this moisturiser as a good everyday moisturising cream its great value, last quite a long time, is easy to use and leaves you with soft smooth skin.
