I discovered Nivea Sun Spray by accident really. Just recently I went on holiday to Spain to visit my brother, the weather was just right, lots of sunshine and a nice cooling breeze. The first day I got myself settled ready for a nice long sunbathe when I discovered I had left my usual sun screen at home. Not wanting the bother of getting changed and going down the shops, I found some in by brother's cupboard. (left by a previous visitor).
... ...This "borrowed" sun screen was Nivea Sun Spray Factor 10. I immediately though by using factor 10 I would not tan as usual, but I was wrong I came back from that holiday with a beautiful deep all-over tan, well almost all-over, look a bit like a panda in the nude! In fact the tan has stayed with me and my skin still feels good. Usually when I get home the first shower or bath starts my whole body peeling, this didn't happen this time. more
I discovered Nivea Sun Spray by accident really.
I have always loved sunbathing and kid myself I know about sun screens, well I thought I did. Being lucky and having skin which quickly tans and doesn't burn easily, I have always used a factor 2. This "borrowed" sun screen was Nivea Sun Spray Factor 10.
I found it very easy to apply, it quickly absorbed into my skin and didn't leave it feeling sticky. Other sun screens I have used in the past seem to fill up my pores and make me perspire, Nivea Sun Spray did not have this affect on me. It has a very pleasant and non-overpowring perfume, although I cannot say what it is. In the long, long list of unrecognisable ingredients it just says, "Parfum (fragrance).
I am really impressed with Nivea Sun Spray and because I left the "borrowed" spray with my brother for the next person, I went straight out and bought some more, sticking to factor 10. With the very hot, sunny weather we have been having since my return I have continued to use it regularly with brilliant affect.
The Nivea Sun Spray factor 10 which I bought is water resistant with Vitamin E and a UVA+UVB Filter System. On the bottle it states that it is "Medium protection for sun acclimatised skin" and should be applied regularly. The bottle also sports a UVA three star logo.
Prices vary a lot and it's worth hunting around to find offers. I bought my 200 ml. bottle for, I think, £12 at Boots, but I used ten £1 vouchers which I had saved up. I wouldn't hesitate to pay the full price for this product though as I think it is brilliant and it suits my type of skin.
Nivea Sun Spray is just one of many sun products they produce, but as this is the first time I have used Nivea's Sun Care Range, I cannot comment on them.
Conclusion ========= I am so glad I tried this product and I will be forever grateful to the person who left it at my brothers'. It isn't cheap, but it seems to last for ages. In the spray form it is easy to apply and leaves your skin feeling smooth with no stickiness. It gave me a good even tan, but then I tan easily, and most important of all I did not peel. I will definitely make sure I don't forget to take Nivea Sun Spray and most likely their Aftersun, on my cruise in two weeks' time. As long as you choose the factor most suitable for your skin I would not hesitate to recommend trying it.
Advantages: So easy to use Disadvantages: quite pricey
Have you ever noticed that one little sniff of some sun tan lotion immedeatley whisks your mind back to your last holiday ?
Well it does for me anyway!
Having two small kids that just hate any sort of attention where they have to stand still for more than 10 seconds we were having great difficulty in getting them covered in sun protection the other week.
Apart from the obvious such as covering them in clothes with long sleves and hats there didnt ... ...rub lotion all over them, an unpleasent experience all around as I gained more swift kicks from my daughter to a very sensetive part of my anatomy than was absolutley necessary!
Nuff said! There had to be a better option, so as we were trailing around the town on a sweltering hot day, just browsing about, I noticed a smallish navy blue bottle with a yellow lid, the best bit is to come......
it said......... SUN SPRAY ........
YESSSSSS!

Advantages: No Sun Burn, Nice Smell, Easy To Use. Disadvantages: Quite Pricey, can be quite sticky, top comes off too easy.
...doggy. I immediately apply the Nivea Sun Spray and my first thought it "What a lovely smell" its that classic holiday smell, not sure how to describe it really but you all know the holiday smell!
The nozzle sprayed the sunscreen evenly and it was very easy to apply using my hands, however, I found it to leave my skin quite tacky and that put me off abit. Plus it left my hands really sticky after application, again that wasn't very nice. If I could ... ...case I wouldn't buy the Nivea again the stickyness being the main fault, I would actually grudge paying £11.99 again to walk around feeling like I'm sticking to myself all day, tis not a pleasant feeling. Another thing I found was the top is really loose, I lost the damn thing between leaving the beach and getting home. So beware of that.
Overall, nice product and good idea but I wouldn't buy it again. ...

Advantages: works brilliantly and it refreshs Disadvantages: Exspensive
...it works brilliantly, produced by Nivea the cream is rather exspensive retailing at around £11.99 a bottle, thats for 200ml. I say it's worth it though, the cream has only just run out. It comes in a relatively small bottle which is blue with an attractive orangey/yellowey lid/cap.
You may have noticed that this is a kids sun spray, that doesen't bother us though, it works well on all 5 of us! We did buy it for my little 5yr old sister though! Overall ... ...the other day but we came back with exactly the same stuff but TRSCO's own, it was much cheaper, we're all going to use it on holiday next week so maybe you can look forward to an op on whether it was just as good when I get back, thanks for reading ~M~ ...

Advantages: Quick and easy Disadvantages: Not particuarly long lasting
...to catch some sun. Nivea Sun Spray is an amazing idea which frankly I am suprised no one has thought of before. A sun cream which you simply spray on. No more sand and congealed-suncream in the lids, super-heated dollops of the stuff smearing heavily over your body and often leaving big patches covered whilst overs get hardly any at all. This product comes in a fairly small 200ml container which fits nicely in the hand. There are finger ridges on ... ...quite dramatic consequences! Luckily Nivea also do an After Sun Spray in the same bottles except they are light blue. This stuff works well if you forget to reapply often like me, and has the added effect of cooling your skin down with the spray. If you were going to use this in a very hot and very sunny place I'd suggest you use a separate stronger creme for delicate areas like the face and shoulders. Make sure to put some back on after getting ...

Advantages: Read the Review Disadvantages: Price, requies frequent application
...friend, and me decided on Nivea Sun Spray factor 10. We took an average and found that the Nivea Sun Spray factor 10 seemed to be the best. Now the problem is getting it. We got hold of factor 2, factor 8 and even factor 15 but not 10. As usual the counter guy was scientist as to why factor 15 or 20 will be better, sir? But I wanted keep the trust with my ciao guys. At last we did get one and happy we are.
For 200 ml bottle £11 + price, isn’t it ... ...good fragrance, as with all Nivea product its same, not at all over powering but this is no exception but it smells naturally damn soothy. May be it is the branded ‘Natural” smell policy of Nivea.
I must say that this Sun Spray is very easy to use, water resistant, it has got both UVA, UVB filters an although I am a man who is very allergy prone (soft skin, I believe) but it’s application produced no signs of that dreaded, ugly looking red flare ...

~~The Product~~
Being fair skined I get easily burnt if I'm not careful. Unfortunately for me the latest holiday I went on was a bit of a disaster for sun burn but thankfully I had with me my trusted Nivea After SunSpray.
Nivea is a well known brand that supplies many different products for many different skin types. If needing any assistance with these products nip into your local chemist and more often than not they'll be able to help you (well I'm very lucky to have this where I live)
The Nivea After SunSpray is fantastic because it's suitable for all skin types and leaves it feeling soft, smooth and completely refreshed after a day in the sun. It contains pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E that help to repair the skin and aloe vera to soothe it and relieve the burning.
It also helps to continue to moisturize your skin ...
Advantages: Pleasant smell, easy to use Disadvantages: Not a great deal of protection
Niveasun oil spray SPF4
I do like oil when sun bathing because sometimes cream just feels as though it's clogging me up. Nivea being a make I tend to trust, when I was last lying in the sun (seems a very very long time ago!!) I bought this assuming that it would offer protection and cause no nasty adverse skin reactions. Never entirely sure exactly what they mean, I was naturally enticed by the UVA 3 stars, although I have seen sun products with higher stars.
~~Product and Packaging~~
The oil is in a dark brown plastic bottle- obviously to give a clear idea of the walnut colour you will go when you use it. The large orange lid is pull off/ push back on with a spray mechanism to get the oil out.
The oil itself when sprayed comes out as a fine mist and settles lightly on the skin. I say "settles" because that's exactly what ...
Advantages: Don't have to rub in Disadvantages: Makes your skin feel sticky
NIVEA - Cooling After SunSpray
*WHAT IT DOES*
Nivea after sunspray helps cool your skin and sooth it after it has been exposed to the sun. It is particularly helpful if you have gotten sunburnt as it helps restore your damaged skin. The Aloe Vera soothes the skin, whereas the Provitamin B5 and Vitamin E helps repair your skin and store lost moisture. This will help make your skin be in better condition and protect against premature skin ageing due to sun damage.
*INTRODUCTION*
I have very fair skin and burn easily, so I decided to buy aftersun as I am in the sun a lot and was anticipating the worst. Thank goodness, so far on my travels I have only been burnt badly once so I was very thankful of having this product. I will stress to anyone who is going to be exposed to the sun for long periods of time to cover up (wear lose ...
