    Advantages Advantages Natural results

Disadvantages Disadvantages It's more expensive then the all over version!

Genetics is an odd business don't you think? For some reason, you'd have thought dark hair, darkish eyes I'd have had skin that wasn't pale. The Irish genes finally came out and gave me skin that doesn't tan and no don't suggest I let myself burn then you'll tan because you know it doesn't work for me and it's not sensible. You know that pale person you saw in arrivals clutching the duty free and the case -well that was probably me or a few years that person who looked red and I'm talking RED erm that was probably me as well. It took me a good few years to realise that nothing on this earth ... more

Advantages Advantages Gives a healthy glow

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can look uneven, especially around hairline

I love magazines - the glossy ones filled with images of lovely clothes and lovely bodies, interspersed with stories of misery and woe to make you feel that little bit better about yourself... Much as I enjoy reading them, the main excitement associated with such publications isn't actually the printed words or even the shiny pictures, but the freebies. As soon as my subscription copy of a certain ladies monthly comes through the door I find myself flicking through in the eager pursuit of little sachets and trial samples of perfumes, moisturisers, shampoos and so on - its a great way of trying ... more

Advantages Advantages Natural looking, dries quickly, moisturising

Disadvantages Disadvantages Gets everywhere so cover your floor when applying.

This is the product for the body from the Nivea Sun Touch range and is seriously the best fake tan I have ever used! Nivea Sun Touch self tan spray is quick and easy to apply and gives the most even and natural looking tan. I start by exfoliating and then moisturing my whole body with Nivea moisturiser and leave it for a few moments to sink in. This gives a great base for applying the self tan and you will find it goes on so much easier and more evenly. Moisturising first is not a necessity, but does get rid of those dry patches on ankles, knees and elbows where self tan can create dark ... more

    Advantages Advantages looks natural, lasts

    Disadvantages Disadvantages don't know

I first tried this when I got a free sachet of it in a magazine. I was a bit worried about using it, as the only fake tan I have ever used in the past was Johnson's Holiday Skin, and that is very mild. Being for your face, it's not like you can cover up if you turn tangerine! Nevertheless, I was sick of my winter skin, and as the sun didn't appear to be coming out anytime soon I thought I might as well at least try it. The sachet contained 2ml, which doesn't sound like a lot, but was probably slightly too much. I rubbed it onto my face, taking care to avoid hairline and brows as suggested on ... more

    Advantages Advantages Lovely glow

Disadvantages Disadvantages there are actually none, you just have to know the basics of how to use self-tan cream.

I bought this product because of the positive reviews in here. It really does give a nice colour. I have never dared to apply any self-tanners in loads- just a very little to give some glow to my very fair skin. If you search for that, then it is a right product for you. I have always trusted Nivea for some reason and now again i didn´t have to disappoint, although I was afraid I was going to, because self- tanners are a very tricky products. ORANGE is the word I have in mind when I think of the previous products I have used from Ambre Solaire (do not buy it, until they announce they have a ... more
