I quite like all the nivea range as it's gentle on your skin and makes skin really soft. I've previously brought nivea lipcare, nivea face cream and nivea's range of suntan lotion and have been pretty happy with the result of them all.
The reason why i've had this product for so long (unlike most beauty products which are used up within a couple of months) is because it isn't that much of a great product and i rarely use it, unless you like being shiny that is. As that is all this product does really, makes your skin shiny. Yes it gives your face an alright tint, which you could probably make out is fake tan, and it may make your skin smooth and moisturised, but there are more negatives than positives in my point of view. For example, on the back of the product it says "A special combination of Light-Reflecting and Colour Pigments blends with your natural skin tone to brighten your complexion and even out skin imperfections". I suppose they are half right when they say about light reflecting, as any type of light really does bounce off your face! In my opinion it just made me look shiny, and not in a healthy radiant type of way either. The product says its a light formula and is easily absorbed, not necessary true, because why would it make you so shiny!
The *Tint* When squeezing the liquid out of it, a small amount will come out at a time (unless your me of course and squeezed it abit too hard and half of it comes out by accident), so you can start off with a little bit at a time and you shouldn't waste any of it. The colour I have is in "natural", im unsure if it comes in other colours though, i can't quite remember. But it is a nice light brown colour, a bit like hot chocolate type of colour. Your meant to apply the cream evenly by gently massaging into the skin using small upward, circular strokes. I don't think it matters what way you do it though really because once the cream has dried, you can see where the tint has dried too, and it pretty much looks like you put fake tan on your face and you've done a bad job of it. The tint in my opinion has it's own advantages and disadvantages, what i usually do to cover up the tints that may look uneven, is to put on a light bronzer on over the top that way you still have the tint adn you can't tell where you've missed bits and it may cover up the shinyness too.
The advantages of the whole product are it has UVA/UVB protection in combination with vitamin E, I like to know that what's going on my skin is helping it. It has been dermatologically approved, and does make your skin smooth. The disadvantages however are beware of a shiny face and having to put powder over it to cover the shine, and if not moisturised in thoroughly then streaks of the tint may be left over and fairly noticeable. Overall, i wouldn't really recommend this product, you might as well just use proper face tan and a good moisturiser to get the same effects.
Advantages: You don't feel heavily made-up. Disadvantages: None.
...body, I first stumbled upon Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Creme, whilst desperately searching for a "foundation" that I could comfortably wear during the summer months, without either looking over done or feeling like my skin was suffocating.
I've always been a fan of Nivea products. I just love the smell. My Nan used to use it and it seems to have a timeless quality. So having exhausted the aisles looking for the perfect summer foundation and ... ...Tinted Moisturiser in amongst the Nivea range. Could this be the answer, I thought. I'd tried tinted moisturisers before and they had either streaked, had not been easily absorbed or they just didn't give a decent colour.
Being the kind of girl I am, I bought some anyway, figuring that I had a good track record with Nivea products so I may be in luck. And I was not disapointed! Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Creme goes on like a dream. It comes ...

...moisturising then a brand like nivea with a good reputation. i hate using foundation, it makes me feel like ive gotta put on a thick layer before i conside myself presentable!! So i was on the lookout for an alternative.
I was recommended it by a friend about 2 years ago, who is an avid sunbed user and was reluctant to put foundation over her skin as she wanted to keep her sunkissed look. I have found that this product does not "cake" your face ... ...a look. It is generally near the nivea creams and stuff.
It is brilliant value for money, as i have only ever bought 2 tubes in the 2 yrs i have been using it and i go out pretty much every night and i know my sister nicks it too!! ...

"Is NIVEA VISAGE YOUNG be beautiful! Tinted Moisturiser the right product for me?
* yes, if you have normal or combination young skin

--Application--
Just squeeze out and apply to clean dry skin.
--Appearance--
The moisturiser is worryingly dark, but even on pale skin it adapts cleverly to your skintone. On the skin, it looks muddy. Be careful to rub out any streaks too, so that it doesn't look like fake tan gone wrong.
--How does your face feel?--
Moisturised, but no more so than any other moisturiser.

Nivea Visage have a range of tinted moisturisers available as part of their Active Daily Care range and the one I would particulalrly recommend is the Natural shade. It smooths on to the skin beautifully, covering any light blemishes and blends with your own skin colour for a perfect flawless natural look. It also contains UV filters, vitamin E and light reflective pigments so protects your skin throughout the day too. Its very gentle on the skin ...

...moisturising cream and then the nivea tinted cream on top of it. When I am in a hurry it may happen that I wear only the tinted cream which by the way is also moisturising, and my skin looks good as well.
I definitely recommend this product to people like myself who do not like wearing foundation all day long and need a valid alternative product to get an even complexion.

I started to use this product when my mum had it in the bathroom and i thought i would try it and i have been using it for years! I use it as my foundation and it covers up blemishs and keeps skin smooth and looking good all day long, i know it might cost a bit and it is hard to find, I buy mine in Boots, but i know Asda, wilkos, superdrugs and most chemists have got this product, but it is the best yet! its a nice texture and its easy to wash off and it won't let you down. It provides the daily care and protection your skin needs, combining with a hint of colour, to give your complextion a natural radiance all day long. You can use it on its own or after prior appilcation, It comes in a tube and its easy to fit in your make-up bag or in a pocket. Formulations for all skin types (cream, gel and lotion), smoother skin that feels toned after a couple of applications, matching serum top-up for extra dry skin, one jar lasts for ages and smells fresh, clean and gorgeous.
Prohibitively expensive for a straight-up, non anti-ageing facial moisturiser. Lightly perfumed and non-hypoallergenic - unsuitable for sensitive skin. (*)
