'''No.7 Radiance Revealed Exfoliator'''
My exfoliator is one of those things that I am quite fussy about. I want it to be "gritty" enough that I feel that it is actually sloughing off those dead skin cells, but not so rough as to leave me bright red and feeling like I've used a cheese grater on my face.

Exfoliation provides a deep cleanse to your skin, scrubbing away the dead surface skin and helping to encourage cell renewal. I also find my moisturiser is absorbed more easily after exfoliating.

No.7 Radiance Revealed Exfoliator
My exfoliator is one of those things that I am quite fussy about. I want it to be "gritty" enough that I feel that it is actually sloughing off those dead skin cells, but not so rough as to leave me bright red and feeling like I've used a cheese grater on my face.
I first tried this product when I had a £5 off voucher for No.7 products, and I've used it consistently since, for about five years.
Why Exfoliate?
Exfoliation provides a deep cleanse to your skin, scrubbing away the dead surface skin and helping to encourage cell renewal. I also find my moisturiser is absorbed more easily after exfoliating. This Product
It is a pale blue/green colour and claims to be fragrance free - I presume this means that there is no fragrance added to the product because it definitely has its own scent. It contains grapefruit and I can detect this when I have a good sniff. I also think it smells a bit like cucumber; fresh and clean, anyway.
How to Use
You need only a small blob, about the size of a large pea. When you rub this between your fingers it does feel slightly rough, but not really gritty the way some body scrubs do. Massage it over your damp, cleansed face, avoiding the eye area, then rinse away with warm water. You can feel the exfoliating material gently rubbing your skin, but it is in no means harsh on your face. I tend use this in the shower and, unless I have been wearing make-up (which I don't do on a daily basis), I don't tend to cleanse as such, prior to using. It is suggested that you should use this once or twice a week…..which I do…..when I remember. Does It Work?
The claims on the packaging are that using this will "promote cell renewal and refine pores, leaving skin soft, smooth, energised and glowing with health"
Well, my skin feels soft and smooth and I have never been over-concerned about unrefined pores, but as for energised and glowing with health - I think this is more of a state of mind than something you can get from an exfoliator!! Certainly my skin feels super-clean after using this and there is no tightness, blotches or dry patches. As mentioned previously, this does seem to improve the efficiency with which my moisturiser is absorbed. And who's to know how ghastly and haggard I would look without it…. Value for Money
It's currently £7.75 for the 75ml tube (www.boots.co.uk) but as it is a No.7 product, there are always lots of 3 for 2 deals that can be taken advantage of. It's certainly cheaper than the premium brand products but it's not cheap. A 75ml tube, used twice a week will last you a good six months to a year though, and the product is good for two years after opening.
Ingredients
(Feel free to skip this bit, but I know some people like to know what is in these things)
The blurb on the tube says that this contains "purifying grapefruit and watercress plus hydrating pro vitamin B5"
The actual ingredients are listed as : Aqua, Paraffinum liquidum, Cetyl alcohol, Glycerin, Steareth-21, Polyethylene, Steareth-2, Phonoxyethanol, Propylene glycol, Carbomer, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Potassium hydroxide, Propylparaben, Tetrasodium, EDTA, Nasturtium officinale, Citrus paradise, CI 42090. Summary
I like this product. It doesn't work miracles, but I don't expect it to. It is not overly expensive and it lasts a good long time. It is convenient to use in the shower - ideal for someone who is as lazy as I am with their "beauty" regime!
Four stars, recommended. (This review has also been posted on Dooyoo by me under the same username carcraig)
As with nearly ever other No 7 product I own I got this because I got a £5 No 7 voucher. I hadn't seen a lot I wanted but wanted to use the voucher so I just went for on of the cheapest things in the skincare range which was this exfoliator. At full price it isn't exactly cheap though, it was £7.50, but that meant I only paid £2.50 for it which was a good bargain! It is a 75ml bottle which is average size for a face scrub. '''Packaging…'''
It is ... ...bit where the scrub comes out at the bottom, so it is always easy to get it out of the bottle. The bottle is kind of clear so you can see what is inside a bit, but it is a bit frosted which actually makes it look nice and better quality than if it were a clear bottle. It has a gold 'No7 at the top and 'Radiance Revealed' written in bold black beneath this. Overall I really like the packaging, it looks minimalist, clean and modern, which is what you ...

Advantages: skin feels fairly smooth after use, smells nice Disadvantages: tight feeling after use, not as good as other brands
Recently I visited the Avon website to replace a spot cream I had ran out of, and, typical me, ended up spending a fortune on other stuff I didn't really need! One of the products I got was their sweet finish sugar scrub - a facial exfoliator. I had previously been using No.7radiancerevealedexfoliator, which I absolutley love, but I'm always worried that there's something better out there that I don't know about, so I decided to give this a try!
~Packaging~
This comes in a squeezy tube, which is a sort of peach colour, with a thick orange stripe across the bottom. I think the tube's quite plain and boring personally, but then the packaging is not really the most important thing - it's what's inside that counts! One thing I will say though, is that the flip top cap is very flimsy, and mine is looking very weak already (after ...
