As with nearly ever other No 7 product I own I got this because I got a £5 No 7 voucher. I hadn't seen a lot I wanted but wanted to use the voucher so I just went for on of the cheapest things in the skincare range which was this exfoliator. At full price it isn't exactly cheap though, it was £7.50, but that meant I only paid £2.50 for it which was a good bargain! It is a 75ml bottle which is average size for a face scrub.

Packaging…

It is in a squeezy bottle which sits upside down with the bit where the scrub comes out at the bottom, so it is always easy to get it out of the bottle. The bottle is kind of clear so you can see what is inside a bit, but it is a bit frosted which actually makes it look nice and better quality than if it were a clear bottle. It has a gold 'No7 at the top and 'Radiance Revealed' written in bold black beneath this. Overall I really like the packaging, it looks minimalist, clean and modern, which is what you would expect from something expensive.

The Exfoliator…

When it comes out of the bottle it is a pale blue colour which looks really nice and fresh. If you look at it, it doesn't even look like an exfoliator. It doesn't really have much of a smell which I find quite a good quality as it makes it seem gentler on the skin. The only smell it does smell is a faint soapy smell, but it is very faint.

There are no bits visible, unlike some others where you can literally see the bits in it, which are often another colour. But I could feel straight away that it was grittier than it looks. The bits in it are really tiny, but it is really concentrated and there are loads of the bits in each squirt of the exfoliator. Despite this it isn't too rough on the skin, I still had to be careful as I have quite sensitive skin but it didn't hurt my skin at all. The exfoliator is in a nice balm like stuff that leaves whatever it touches feeling moisturised. I think this is the reason it doesn't feel to rough on the skin, because the balm in it kind of protects you from the grit.

I've learnt that you don't have to use much of it at all each time, because it is so concentrated a little bit goes a long way. I tend to dab a little bit on both cheeks and my forehead and that way I don't end up using too much or focussing it all in one place. As soon as I have used it I can feel the difference in my skin, it always feels really smooth but soothed as well. Because of the moisturising effect my skin has never felt dry after using it. I still always use moisturiser afterwards though.

I've had it for about 3months now and use it usually 2-3 times a week and I've still got about a quarter of the bottle left, so it lasts really well. This kind of justifies the price a bit because a cheaper one might not last as long as this.

It says on the bottle that it is suitable for all skin types and I have to agree with this. It would be fine for people with normal skin and I have found it fine with my sensitive skin. Although I would imagine, as with any exfoliator, it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a bad skin condition or any open wounds on the face.

Overall Opinion…

I'm giving it 5 stars because despite it being quite expensive I thought it was very good quality and has really good results on my skin. It lives up to what it claims that it will renew skin cells and smooth the skin without irritating.

I wasn't keen on this when I tried it but at least like you I had one of the £5 vouchers so at least it wasn't too much money spent on it x
