The no kinks straightener comes in a tube and is a slightly sticky gel. It contains a multivitamin and UV filter to protect hair from styling.
The back of the tube says: 'Use no kinks straightener when you want to transform your hair into a style that's seriously smooth and straight. It will straighten frizz prone, kinky and difficult to control hair, adding a beautiful silky shine and leaving it poker straight ... ...this I thought I'd give it a go, so after washing my hair I combed the gel through then blow dried it straight. My hair didn't feel sticky or stiff, in fact it felt like there was nothing on it. I then straightened my hair with GHD's until it was poker straight. The gel hadn't dulled my hair or flattened it in any way, in fact it hadn't done anything. 10 minutes later the ends of my hair had curled and it was a bit frizzy.

I'd recommend this product for hair that isn't curly, but maybe just a bit wavy and needs a bit of control. Unfortunately it really didn't suit my hair type and I'm back on the search for a miracle product again ;) (so far I've found the more expensive brands much more effective, such as Toni & Guy)

I tried this product once, as I was after something to help keep my hair straight, had run out of my usual product, and was at the local supermarket. It was cheap, by a well known brand and said it did everything I wanted it to, so I thought I would give it a try.
I was really disappointed. It didnt seem to make any difference to my hair, and as for protection, I felt as though it had done nothing at all. My hair felt terrible and lank and I threw the product away. ...
