Advantages good for people who just want a cheap simple phone

Disadvantages doesn't have any fancy features, doesn't hold many text messages.

I first got this phone a few years ago. After having a terrible record of losing my phones, i decided a cheap phone would be best. I bought it for £20 with £10 credit on it and ironically i seem to have taken better care of this than my others.

The phone has quite a sleek shape and is not too bulky so fits nicely in your hand and pocket. It has a simple scroll function allowing you to move through the differerent categories. A handy thing about this phone is that by pressing up you can see the last calls list and by pressing down one the address book. This makes it easy to phone people you call regularly as you can find them without having to scroll through a long list of names.

The buttons are big enough to be able to press easily enough and it is easy to turn on and off. The battery life is good and often i only have to charge it about once a week.

It has the classic game of snake on it, something i missed greatly on my previous phones and as the keys are large enough, the game is easy enough to play. It also has quite a bright white flashlight built into it, something not often found on newer phones.

The phone is durable and has withstood being dropped by me on numerous occasion however it does have a tendancy to lose the back, battery and sim card when dropped. It also survived being bitten by my dog!

There are some negatives though:

1) There is not much space for storing text messages. I often find that if i have forgotten to delete my last few messages then 'no room for new messages' is shown. This can be quite annoying when you know that you have got a text message and then have to wait for up to 2 hours for it to come through

2) It only has monophonic (beepy) ringtones. This has been quite embarassing with some stranger even making a comment about it.

3) There are no fancy features such as a camera, bluetooth, video

Overall, this phone is great for someone looking for a bargain and who only wants a mobile for texting and making phone calls. It's best not to get this phone if you are looking for one that combines a personal organiser, with mp3 player, with camera, with video recorder etc.
