I purchased this phone as my old one was stolen and I wanted a cheap option for pay as you go.
As with all other Nokia phones I have purchased this phone is very reliable (hence sticking with Nokia). Although small and compact this model is very robust and sturdy and can take a few knocks. I haven't had any issues with the battery falling out as I have had with past models.
This model is simple to use and has the same menu layout as other Nokias. Menu includes: Messages (SMS, texts) Contacts Call Register Settings (tone, display, profiles, time settings, call settings, Alarm Clock Reminders Games (Bounce (my favourite), Nature Park, Mobile Soccer) Extras (calculator, convertor, spreadsheet, calendar, countdown timer, stopwatch, composer
There are also a few shortcuts which I find useful ie by hitting the down arrow I'm automatically in the address book, or left arrow and automatically in text message.
Personally I find that these options are all I need to custom my phone with the basics ring tone etc, call, text, set my alarm in the mornings and play the odd game on the tube.
So far the battery life is very good, I normally only need to charge every 4-5 days. My talk time during this time would be minimal, around 30 minutes.
This model isn't as easy to text on as some Nokias as the keys are quite close together, however in time I got used to this and I'm almost as fast as I was on my 3310. Also the central key used to move up/down/left/right can also be a bit fiddly.
If you want a simple, cheap, reliable phone then this is a great option. If you want to do lots of fancy things then this model is not for you.

It may be a simple basic phone, but there is so much that a consumer needs to know about a complex item like a telephone.
