About three years I used some cheap mobile phone. When I've decided to upgrade, I went to the mobile phone shop. My dream was about modern stylish mobile friend "like other ones" with camera and mp3 support. Contest to win my heart won Nokia 2600c. 1. This phone really has camera! But it's not so good I thought. It capture good photo only on the street, not home, where shots are greased. You can find video camera in Nokia 2600 . 10 sec length - it's very-very bad for me, maybe for you to. Also there is night shot feature. 2. I am not satisfied with alarm. You cannot neither change a name of it, nor create multiple alarms. 3. There is a middle button. Pressing it left you' ll see new SMS creating, right - calendar, up - photo camera on, down - your contacts. Very comfortable. 4. Do you need a sound recording? You can do it for 60 seconds. Also you can set your recording as ringtone. I like it (but default melody is more beautiful). 5. My old phone had no mp3 support, Also there was no 65536 color tones. Nokia 2600c has it and even more! 6. I fluctuated between other gadget and my contemporary "friend". Why Nokia won? Because of its radio feature. I set about ten radio stations, I heard it with headphones or with louder. Radio on the mobile phone is cool! 7. No USB support. To upload new media you must to go to the GPRS Internet or to 'bluetooth' your Nokia with friend's device. No IR port - not bad, I think. 8. There are so many cool features for me who never had mobile helper, not only phone. If you think about upgrading from old very-bad-and-uncomfortable-device to new (2007), contemporary gadget it is that doctor prescribes. Upgrade to Nokia 2600c. But buy it as phone, not as photo/video camera. P.S. I forgot to tell about 10 MB built-in memory and others features.
