Nokia 2630 **** Here is a budget phone from nokia and its providing good value for money, here is a brief discuss about this phone, announced in May 2007 to capture budget market. **** First of all wide range of network coverage for all around the world as GSM 900 / 1800 GSM 850 / 1900. And this phone has excellent feature that is its size.. a good slim and handy phone with size of 105 x 45 x 9.9 mm, 45, where 9.9mm is its thickness and you can imagine that it is slim category phone. Width and height also a reasonable that it is not such large to affect its portability. Its siweight is about 66gm and can be consider as a light weight phone. **** Display size is 128 x 160 pixels and having a resolution 65K colors, generally color phone have a screen resolution of 256K and comparing to that is has less resolution screen but considering as budget phone they have provided as a middle solution. **** If we think about memory of this phone than it has very disappointing feature that having only 11Mb shared memory but there is no any card slot. Now a day's phone having camera and facility of music player but don't having any card slot or having limited capacity of memory..There is no mean of it. It will be better option if they have provided better memory capacity or put a card slot in it. **** There are good connectivity options also provided like GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps , EDGE Class 6, 177.6 kbps and there is no need of 3G in this type of budget phone or it is not possible to keep price controlled with this type of features but the good feature available that is Bluetooth , the best feature available in this phone and in this chapter the another disappointing thing is that it has no any USB port. We can think that why USB port need, when there is no memory card option available, but PC connectivity is common and it is essential to keep USB port also. **** Other good feature that can attract your attention is its FM radio, the time is for FM and we can enjoy music from this slim category phone but FM has no Stereo enable.. so you are unable to listen excellent stereo sound but need to satisfy with its Mono sound. Next point is its VGA camera, I will never recommend to keep this type of VGA camera because the time of digital photography and if you have bad VGA camera than the results also will be so bad that can make your mood off so that need not to put this type of camera in the phone. **** Battery.. In this field this phone also failed to give a battery of better capacity battery to play long time FM radio..yes. having 700Mah capacity of battery and nokia are claiming to provide 6 hours of talk time, but reality is that it can be fully discharge after 3 hours of continuous talking or playing music on Fm. FM run time is something less than its talk time. **** Overall conclusion.. If you are planning to buy a cheap phone for only the purpose of conversation than it will be better choice and this phone can be improved with providing card slot and removing its VGA camera. Cost will remain same and it will become good phone in the market.
