The ring volume capabilities are good, however it is somewhat difficult to hear the person whom you are talking to, even on loudspeaker (compared to other phones). The worst part about this phone is the service. I have had no problems out of two other phones (Motorola C139 & a Nokia 6030) with getting good reception in my home, but recently with this phone no one has been able to hear me, they cannot get through to my phone (it goes straight to voicemail & I never hear it ring), & it is CONSTANTLY dropping my calls. Personally i wouldnt but this phone ever again. and i dont recomend buying it. its one of the worst nokia's out i think.
Advantages: Small, light, nice looking and easy to use for calls and messages. Disadvantages: The menu and labels could allow for more intuitive access to functions.
...Battery life on the Nokia 2760 is good if you only use it for calls and occasional MMS sending. The phone has features to maximize battery life per charge. But why don't they just up the battery to 1000mah instead of 700mah?
Here's what it has for low battery consumption:
The backlight ON time is fixed at 15sec - can't change it.
(They say that 1 min of backlight is equal = to 1 hour of standby)
It goes black during a call or in a menu.
Then ... ...consume battery as if it was closed (like when leaving it open on a table). But it only works if left on the Main screen and not in a menu.
SleepMode ON = empties the screen after 2min,
PowerSaveMode ON = just empties the screen sooner - after 15 sec
Not even with a flash light will you be able to read anything.
Simply press any key to view again.
What it has extra that I don't use and simply ignore:
CAMERA = VGA (480x640) about 129KB in Jpg ...

Advantages: excellent battery, simple for dialy tasks, value for money. Disadvantages: Internal memory only, camera limitation, classic design, fragile.
Alright, Nokia is among the leader of the GSM terminals manufacturers. A giant of innovations and considerably, the best-selling. In the description below, I will try to be fair but I won't spare to mess laying off facts about Nokia 2760. (I had this mobile for a time).
Starting from the design, very modern but not innovating. the revolving Mobile's door (clamshell form) is a 2000 innovation, it's not good nor for the display screen neither for ... ...for an excellent camera phone.
Nokia 2760 is not unfortunately a MicroSD capable phone which means it doesn't support memory card which is totally difficult to comprehend regarding its mp3 capable player and the good battery?
A simple GUI(graphical user interface) is introduced which helps you dealing with this phone. Simple, but it works.
You're limited with the Nokia 2760 mobile phone internal memory (10MB).The Nokia 2760 mobile phone still ...

Advantages: Bluetooth, Camera, Radio, Very userfriendly. Disadvantages: I haven't experienced any.
I bought the Nokia 2760 to replace my previous Sagem phone, as it kept locking up on me. The reason i went for the Nokia brand is because they are well known, and i would percieve them to make great quality products, which will have a good life-span.
The phone is a small flip phone - i specifically wanted a flip phone to stop the main screen getting damaged. The main body of the phone i got is silver. On the front, it has black rectangular shape ... ...This screen displays the time and the date, and lights up blue when you open and close the phone.
Upon opening the phone you will find the screen (which i would say is a fair size), there is a speaker above the screen, and then below is the stylish silver keypad. One thing i will say, is that this phone has by far the best keypad in terms of user-friendliness, compared to all the phones i have owned.
At the top of the phone there is a litte bit ...

Advantages: Good standby battery life, and i like the Nokia interface system Disadvantages: cheaply made, frustrating layout, bit average really
Well i got one of these at Christmas 8 months ago, and well, it's what you pay for really. It feels pretty nasty and cheap - bits of the plastic paint come off and i hear it creaking in my pocket from cheapy plastic. Not a quality product, but then it's hardly a quality price comsidering what you get with it.
Although reading reviews about poor battery life i found the standby time and for my general use of the odd text keeps it going for 2 weeks, ... ...also easy to use (bar the buttons which i'll get to in a sec)
The signal is usually pretty poor, but then I use orange who are usually pretty poor anyway so it's hard to tell. The camera gets me along nicely for the odd emergency use though. The stupid rubbery cap over the wire inputs is frutrating too, its so hard to open and feels like it's going to fall apart all the time.
But the issue i've had is the big button in the middle, if you press ...

Advantages: Low cost, lightweight, ease of use. Disadvantages: Not impressive enough to show off, no exterior buttons.
...cheap to buy, (my old Nokia flip phone was like a stone in my pocket but cost 4 times as much), I would have liked this phone more if Nokia had left out the camera, radio and headset and concentrated more on build quality and included a button on the outside as the only way to check the time is to open it, another button to mute the ringer would also be welcome. I have not commented on the camera or radio as I don't use these features, but I would ... ...in to phones, i.e. okay for a quick snap but not good enough for much else, the radio reception also depends on where you are, I wonder if DAB radio exists on a mobile phone yet? All in all, not a bad budget phone, yes we can buy much much better and pay hundreds of pounds for a phone that does everything except the dishes, but if you just need a phone for making and receiving calls and easily sending texts, then I recommend this. *Camera with 4x ...

Advantages: Slim, Cute and Cheap Disadvantages: Battery backup unsatisfactory
After Nokia released the models 2760 and 2630 is the Nokia 2600 classic. These models are an attempt to capture the market with features like blue tooth , video,GPRS and mp3 support and is also on the lower price range.
The 2600 classic is the newer and more modified version of the earlier 2600. This version has more facilities and functions and is much slimmer. It has got quite an attractive look with an extra panel that comes along with the pack, which I think is great. The LCD is bigger than the previous one and comes along with a headset that features an FM radio too. The battery is however unsatisfactory. You need to charge up to two times a day if you listen to music or play games. It doesn't have a music player but can play mp3 and amr formats. It has only 10 MB inbuilt memory and doesn't have expandable memory. You can ...
Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, well made Disadvantages: technically a bit out dated and not very advanced
I've always loved the Motorolas of this generation, the V3 was the original I had and after 5 years of use it became too poor to use. I replaced it with a Nokia2760 which I have also reviewed. I found it too cheap and nasty and although it electronically worked very well I really wasn't keen. I love the motorola layout - with the buttons on the side and how easy it is to open this phone.
Despite the Nokia being far more advanced and working well, after 9 months of use, i resorted to buying one of these on eBay. Admittidly this was triggered by a fallout with Orange, but that's another matter.
On recieving this phone I was delighted, bought second hand for £38 it is a wonderfully designed phone and it looks fantastic and the weight says it all about how well made it is. Excellent. It has the contarversial keypad which is completely ...
Advantages: Slim, light and easy to navigate Disadvantages: Having an Orange contract which connection/signal is always a problem
AND BATTERYAside from its lightness, it contains a higher internal memory capacity than Samsungs G600 and U700 and of course comparable to Blackberry's Pearl models. It is better than Nokia's models 2630 and 2760 (11MB) or the slide 6500 which is only 20MB. It is advisable to acquire additional external memory card (microSD up to 2GB). The 60MB internal memory is enough to hold a reasonable number of photos and songs, including video clips. If I want to take more images and videos, then I normally use my digital camera for higher resolution.
The life span of the battery is reasonable. Technically, it is designed to have a talking time of 4 hours, but in my experience I don't reach that length of time of chatting, otherwise I will exceed my allowable monthly calls of 225 minutes (around 2.5 hours) if I will test this capability. For simple ...
The stylish Nokia 2760 features a digital camera and Bluetooth technology to make it easy to share the photos that they capture. The Nokia 2760 also features video recording, video playback, and FM radio. The combination of Bluetooth and GPRS creates a convenient way to access data on the go for email and Internet. It also features extra large storage to save up to 1000 contacts in the phonebook. Consumers who want to save special text messages to share with friends and family will be delighted by its large capacity for storing SMS messages.
