I'd seen it advertised everywhere, but didn't know a lot about the phone itself only that the cover glowed in the dark!
When I was talked through what the phone does, it sounded brilliant!
The outer cover (ice blue is mine) glows in the dark. You just put the phone under a lamp or strong light for 15 mins which charges the glow bit and voila!
The keypad lights up and will rhymically flash in time with the designated ring tone/alarm etc.
As with all Nokia phones menus are very much similar I found to my old 3310.
Messages menu - where (on this model) you can send SMS messages as well as multimedia messages. This phone doesn't have a camera but can receive pictures
Call register - see what calls you missed, made or list all of them
Contacts - this is basically phone numbers that you have stored
Profiles - set how you want your phone to react on General, Silent or Loud. Personalise ring tones, message tones etc.
Settings - this is the part of the phone where you can personalise wallpaper, ring tones etc. You can also download further ring tones, wallpaper and screen savers via WAP.
Alarm Clock - as it states.
Gallery - this is where you store your downloads. You can delete, rename and organise tones, wallpapers, everything you've downloaded.
Calendar - set reminders for appointments, birthdays etc. along with an alarm
Games - comes with 3 Java games, Bowling, Beach Rally and Snake EX2. Other Java enabled games can be downloaded via WAP.
Applications - Lets you manage and use applications that have been downloaded to your phone
Extras - has a calculator, countdown timer and stopwatch
Services - this is your WAP connection
Go to - this is a shortcut menu to such other menus as Inbox, missed calls, you can personalise it to how you want it.
Vodafone - this is the service of whatever network provider you are with
Overall I have found this phone to be fun to look at and very easy to use. You can buy covers to suit your mood and gaming covers. Nokia also make a radio headphone set which you plug into your phone to turn it into a radio.
They retail in the shops (I got mine from The Link) for around £79.99. Sounds expensive but its well worth it!
Nokia is one of the world's largest mobile phone retailers and this is one of their best models yet.
The overall rating of a review is different from a simple average of all individual ratings.
