When you lock the keys on this is essentially just a small durable brick in your pocket! A handy, lightweight, ... ...I accidently dropped it into a pint mug of nettle tea... good for thinning the blood but not renowned for the good health of a mobile phone... after two years of light disagreement this astonishingly rugged model is still giving me a morning alarm, playing funky tones and doing texts! And I got top score on the fab bowling alley game woth the funky chickens dancing along!
So: 100% takes all the punishment you hand out, no distractions ... more

When you lock the keys on this is essentially just a small durable brick in your pocket! A handy, lightweight, pleasantly shaped brick.
And is mine durable: I accidently dropped it into a pint mug of nettle tea... good for thinning the blood but not renowned for the good health of a mobile phone... after two years of light disagreement this astonishingly rugged model is still giving me a morning alarm, playing funky tones and doing texts! And I got top score on the fab bowling alley game woth the funky chickens dancing along!
So: 100% takes all the punishment you hand out, no distractions for a busy work person (no video, camera, emails or internet), just a good solid work horse of a phone. Fits easily in all my pockets (only one at a time), loudspeaker is useful in noisy places, I use the alarm daily, indeed I use it more as a clock than a phone! No need now to wear a watch, so saves me money!
Cheap at £80 - despite the nettle tea incident I expect this to last me 5 years and will replace it with as near as model. Pay as you go saves me running up expensive bills or wasting money on a contract. I use orange. Nothing very good I can say about orange, I just assume their competitors are even worse! Like when your van breaks down on top of a Welsh mountain: "no network coverage!" wow, how handy...
I get a lot of use out of this for texts and phone calls: I have a peripatetic job so this helps me feel in touch with my clients 100%. So I am delighted with this and will eventually replace it near-as!
I can't really comment on the reception as I have fitted a tiny gadget inside mine that finds you a signal down a mine (but not on a Welsh mountain)..!!
But if you are a trendy, this is not for you! It doesn't have trendy features and it won't add one iota to your self esteem! I have such high self esteem as you can guess, I don't need a phone to make me look good, haha!
So if you work around and about, you're a busy person, you need simplicity, economy, durability, buy this, it won't let you down! You'll save a lot of money you can spend on something more rewarding than a (yawn) phone!!! Go 4 it!
I highly recommend this to anyone in the construction trade: you won't treat yours as bad as I treat mine! If it does get wet thru, just give it a night in the airing cupboard: be good as new next day!

It is a fairly plain and simple to use phone, but it does what it does very well. It loads up quickly, and calls and texts with no problems at all. The battery life is very good, easily lasting a week when fully charged, but the battery indicator is never very accurate on my phone. Advantages: Great battery life. Disadvantages: Sort of a plain phone.
The phone is ok I suppose but I find that there is nothing exciting about it, it has a radio, that I don't use. The best thing about the phone is the battery life. If you just like a phone that will last this is a good choice. but it is not for the ones out there that are looking for style and excitement this is not the phone for you. I think the phone over all is good it is built, well I have had no problems. But the ring tones are poor quality ... ...keep it in the same pocket as your keys as I do but on the positive side it is slim and can fit in tight jeans if you need them to. I would only recommend this phone to people that only want a phone for making calls, it good at that! ...

This is a good tri-band phone for the reasonable price. I got this phone because I have to go to America. This phone works great both in Asia, Hong Kong and Continental USA. It has a really cool feature which is the speaker phone. It is designed especially for the Chinese market because it has conversion of the lunar calendar. For me, I have a bad experience of cell phone being robbed in China during day time, so I decided to purchase the most basic ... ...and all the phone data storage programs. I like the design of the phone, although the price is cheap, it does not look cheap. But be sure to ask for an universal electric plug for recharging. Because I remember the one that I got only have plug for Asia, and the sales person is very helpful and can exchange a universal electric plug for me. So i can use the phone either in Hong Kong or in the US.

Excellent reliable handset, the type that has given Nokia a good name. I have just upgraded to a Nokia3120 but prefer the 6210e as I get better signal strenghth, sound quality and ease of use. Although the 3120 is a good phone it just cannot compete with the 6210e in terms of reliability for everyday use. I have dropped my 6210e many times and it keeps on going on. I personally do not need features such as camera, colour screen, poly ring tones etc so this really is the best phone I have ever owned. Incidentally my sister bought my handset second hand, used it for a year or two, then gave it to me so it must be 4-5 years old and still works like new, but does not look new !! ...
