Firstly I would like to apologize for all of my copied work, and hope that nobody took any of it offensively.
Now the phone, this is a great little phone that does pretty much everything that the Nokia 7250i does, with the exception that you can make your own cut-out covers on this and it has a nice little built in flashlight at the bottom.
The new innovative cut-out covers can be made from any source, like your favorite footy player from a magazine, or newspaper cuttings. You can even print off the internet and create one from that. The built in camera isn't brilliant as far as resolution goes (CIF 352x288) but the picture is sound and the same quality as my mates 7250i.
The color screen is very sharp with 128x128 pixels. The camera also has night mode, but there does still need to be some light to get a decent picture, there is also a ten second self timer function for you vain people out there!
Plus there is a photo album, and other types of photos you can take, aswell as a wallpaper editor. The phone also as an Fm radio, through a built in loudspeaker (you can also have it as an alarm), and it has tri-band, which makes it available to use on 5 different continents, pretty much covering you wherever you go!
At 90g the phone is light, but not too light, and not too big, pretty much perfect. The buttons are new on this phone, as there are only nine of them, and they are plastic and also stick out a few millimeters, but no quibbles with them.
The only way it differs from the 7250i (apart from being £20 cheaper) is it has quite a bit less memory, about 2 or 3mb less, and a couple of extras are missing, but nobody really needs a great amount of memory anyway, and it still has the main extras anyway.
It also has GPRS for good internet browsing all day long, when you are only charged for what files you download or transfer. It also has infrared, so you can download nokia pc suite from their website, and easily download pictures onto your computer at the click of a button, and you can also create your own polyphonic ringtones to be put on your phone, via the pc and the infrared port. It also has Wap 2.0 (also known as XHTML browser, pretty much an upgrade from the original Wap browser)
It has 8 speed dialing buttons from numbers 1-8, it can hold up 256 phone book entries, 50 full sized text messages ( so about 60-70 normal ones) 100 of the innovative calendar notes, plenty, and there are 11 pre-set polyphonic ringtones, which you can add 19 to.
There is also a fun voice recorder on the multimedia section and MMS (multimedia sending) which is also good fun between you and your mates.
It only comes with two games, but as ever you can download more from Wap. It has 2-4 hours of talk time, and 6-12 hours of standby times. I've had no problems with the charger sent or with the instruction manual, of with anything sent in the nokia package. The signal around Warwickshire is constantly full bars on the phone, and the reception of voice calls is fantastically good.
This phone is pretty much standard price at £129.99, from Amazon (best because there is a free p&p option, which I used) currys, dixons and those type of stores, but they are all on O2. It is also available on contract for free, with many price plans but only on O2 again.
But having on O2 is probably the best solution, as they have bolt-ons (text and call packages, where you pay a certain amount and get however many calls or texts stated, e.g. 400 texts fro £12) and it has the largest network covering in the UK at about 98%.
All-in-all I rate this phone very highly and anybody considering a 7250i, I would buy this unless you are after masses of memory.
