My mobile phone was perfectly fine, not a thing wrong with it but i really wanted a camera phone. So off i go down to Carphone Warehouse, i think they are the best phone dealers...anyway...... I take a look about the shop and i see a few phones that tickle my fancy. The Nokia 3200 really stood out to me, it was really different from any other phone that i or any of my friends/family have had, i really prefer a Nokia make of phone AND it had a camera!
I asked the man in the shop for his personal option, he told me that the features where good but the camera wasnt the best quailty (I admired his honesty!) With a price tag of 149 pounds i thought i would treat meself!
The cover i got on the phone was a 3D effect orange colour cover, i didnt like it at all! When i got home i also discovered that i got another 3 with it inside the box, all with a 3D effect. It isnt like any other nokia covers though that you just change the whole case, the the nokia 3200 is clear/see and it is a little slip of plastic with a design on it
that slids between the cover and the phone that you change. I thought this was quite smart and again different to go with the phone. As i read through my manuals i realised that i could also send away via the o2 website and get a free cutter sent to me. This is so i can make my own covers with my own pattern for my phone instead of buying them.
2 weeks later the cutter arrived, what a waste of 2 weeks wait! It was useless! It wouldnt cut through butter never mind paper! So onto my next option......i hit the shops! i looked around all the phone shops trying to jazz up my brand new phone....huh....fat chance! There wasnt 1 about anywhere, when i asked the assistants told me to send away for the cutter! Well i had already done that... no use.... so Ebay it is!
I search through Ebay and eventually seen a cover i liked at a reasonable price so i go ahead and buy it, only to realise it has been sent from Singapore and will take around 6 weeks to arrive! Well its better than nothing i thought and within about 5 weeks my cover was here.....Thats how it started!
Apart from a bit of a difficult start, just trying to get a cover everything else seemed to be fine. The lay out is similiar to the rest of the Nokia's. With a colour screen. You can have your menu laid out in the ordinary gallery option or in a grid apperance. The internet is easy access, with holding in the number 0 you are connected within seconds.

This is where you can change your ringtone, wall paper, set your time and date, type in a greeting, divert your calls onto your answer phone, reset your mobile insert a PIN number etc.

This is where you can view your recordings, gallery (photos you have taken) , Ringtones you may have down loaded, delete any ringtones you have downloaded and dont want. etc
MEDIA- Camera Radio Voice Recorder
This is where can can take pictures, you can take a portrait photo, standard photo, set the timer to take a photo. To use the radio you need the ear phones that are included with the phone. It is good quailty and you can save and name your favourite stations. The voice recorder records up to 1 minute each time, you can also record your favourite tune and set it as your alarm or ring tone.
You can set your alarm with an ordinary alarm tone, a ringign tone or a polyphonic ringtone you hav downloaded even a recording you have made. You can set reminders of maybe a birthday or a meeting in your calender with an alarm if you like for a certain time and date that suits you. The Calculator is pretty basic and easy to use.
APPLICATIONS - Games Collection
You can download games of the internet but you get 2 games on your phone, 'Bounce' and Vitual Me' the graphics are very good on these games

* - If you hold down the * key (Bottom Left Key) This will give you a torch. It is very bright and you never know when you might need it!
The Keypad does take a little getting use to, which i liked alot because it meant that everything about this phone was different, the look, the keys, its very small and really light. I got this phone when it was just new so i think thats why i had so much trouble at the start with covers and stuff. I would recommended this phone for anyone to buy as it is an all round excellant phone.

I have this phone and think it's quite good but I still miss my 8310! We go a cutter in the box and the instructions said press very hard. So we did. And it broke! I do however have one decent cover I managed to cut out before it broke - with a little help of a penknife too though! Not impressed on battery life but other than that a pretty good phone.
