I know that the Nokia 3210 is getting a little bit old, but I still consider it to be one of the best phones on the market, the Nokia 3210 is a great mobile phone. There are so many features which other mobiles lack, which I believe makes this phone really good value for money, you could pick one up for around £70 now. I've had mine for over 14 months now, I originally began on the orange network, and have been consistently impressed, and I wanted ... ...the phone much. Like most Nokia phones, the battery life is considerably longer than other manufacturers' phones. Sound quality is also remarkably good.
There are three simple games; Rotation, Memory and snake, I generally only play on snake as I find the other two games boring and hard, for those of you who have never played snake, the game is very simple and can entertain you on a long journey for hours on end (but I am easily amused) ... more

I've had mine for over 14 months now, I originally began on the orange network, and have been consistently impressed, and I wanted change network but because liked the phone so much I simply had it unblocked and changed to BTCellnet.
It comes with a large collection rings, but you'll soon find that only about three of them are actually bearable, and if you get fed up of those you can program in one ring of your own and also have a ring tone sent directly to your phone by SMS (usually a small charge)
The phone also displays the time, and it can conveniently serve as an alarm clock when you're travelling. The calculator function also includes a feature that allows you to easily and quickly convert between currencies, which is again very useful when you're on holiday.
The phone is very compact, and the battery lasts for several days, supposing that you don't actually use the phone much. Like most Nokia phones, the battery life is considerably longer than other manufacturers' phones. Sound quality is also remarkably good.

I have to mention the SMS service on this phone, for those who use SMS (text messaging) feature of mobile phones, the Nokia 3210 is a godsend. It comes with a "predictive text" feature which attempts to work out which word you're typing when writing text messages, with you only having to press each button once per letter instead of cycling through several options for each individual letter. Although the phone will occasionally predict incorrectly, this is actually a very useful tool for typing long messages swiftly. The dictionary is very big, even including a lot of proper names, place names and the occasional slang word!
Also, reception is generally very good on the phone, which might come as a surprise to some given the lack of an external aerial!
I did actually buy a Nokia 3310 on a contract, but I didn’t like the phone one bit and returned it to the shop, I believe it to be a copy of the 3210 with a few extra tacky features.
Overall, the Nokia 3210 offers good value for money, and is a very robust and sophisticated bit of kit. A great mobile phone!

...to read his messages. The Nokia 3210 has very few buttons which are; the number pad (obviously), the two scrolling buttons, the button with a "c" on it (cancel) and the big button in the middle which is like a select button. The phone book is able to store 99 names and numbers so that if you don't want to dial a number every time or you haven't got a very good memory you can just scroll down and find a number or if you have too many you can search ... ...to save time. The phone book also has the option of assigning a tone to a particular person so you know who it is who is phoning you or if it is someone you don't like you can assign "no tone" to their number so you won't be disturbed by them. The predictive text input is probably one of the best functions of this phone. You only need to press each key once, regardless of which letter you want because once you have typed in the whole word it comes ...

Advantages: Sensible size with availability of very affordable, excellent hands-free car kit Disadvantages: In appearance beginning to look a little dated.
I bought my Nokia 3210 six months ago when I needed to replace my old faithful Nokia 3110 which had finally died after 3 years heavy use.
Instead of telling you about all the features of the phone, such as how many ringing tones, how many games, its weight, its settings, etc. which have been elaborated on in great detail in the many other Opinions on this phone, I'd rather just tell you why I bought it and how it has lived up to my expectations. ... ...was able to upgrade my Nokia 3110 to the 3210 free of charge - that's a good enough selling point in itself but still its only point 1. Now I could have dipped into my pocket on upgrading and bought a more 'modern' looking phone but chose not to do so because of my next point.
2) I could have upgraded my phone earlier but I waited until I was replacing my car. As I drive extensively in my job I had bought an 'all singing, all dancing' hands-free ...

The Nokia 3210. The master of the ringtone. The phone that spawned a million web site ready to charge you £1 a tone and £1 a logo. Why is this phone so damn popular?
I know that when I got mine I was after a phone that had gimmicks. I used to have a Bosch Brick that had a few ringtones and that was it. I wanted more. Why should my friends be able to play snake on the bus when I cannot even search my phonebook to send a text message? I did not care ... ...a fun phone and the Nokia 3210 is what I got. This is a lightweight phone compared to those that were around when the 3210 first appeared on the market. Nowadays the 3310 and many others beat it. (I believe that Siemens have actually just released a phone that is so light that it can be carried by a flea but has ten times the features and memory of any other phone in its class!) But in its day it was a world beater. The features it has are great. ...

...processors inside them. The Nokia 3210 is none of the aformentioned. Ok, it is no longer top of the range, but it is still an excellant phone none the less.
Features:-
1. Text messaging-Ok, all phones have this none but it can be done quickly and easily. With a good sized keypad, fast reload times for typing the same key twice, and extra symbols at the touch of a button, it could not be easier.
2. Look-This is a beautiful phone. Not as small and ... ...friend of mine owns a Nokia 5110 which has a large aerial, and he does have a better reception. Of course, this is noy true in all areas. Most parts of the country are now in range of a receiver, so it should be ok.
4. Extras-Ever thought 'how can I get a ringtone as annoying as that person's over there?' Simple, buy and download one. Almost any ringtone is now easily available, costing only a few pounds. Or, www.boltblue.com offers them for free, ...

...really nice features. So, my Nokia 3210 is exactly what I need. Then I first saw this model in a catalogue of mobile phones, I almost immediately fell in love with it. I still think that this phone is one of the best designed cell phones ever. But those days this model was quite expensive (that was year 2000), so I had to wait. Those days I was using a Motorola flip phone which was… very, very simple. And awkward as well. But in 2002 I was finally ... ...to explain why I consider Nokia 3210 the perfect value for money I paid.
THE PHONE ITSELF
As I mentioned earlier, I think the design of the phone is just excellent. Only Nokia 8210 maybe looks better, but it’s too small. So that was the main reason why I purchased 3210. The keypad is very adequate, and the backlight is just perfect! There are 12 numeric buttons, two scroll keys, c key (which is used for cancelling actions, exiting the menu and ...

Advantages: Flatter, better, ringtones... Disadvantages: No W@P.
Recently i traded up from my nokia 5110 for a Nokia3210 on Orange, and what a good decision it was! The Nokia3210 has many of the functions and abilaties of my old 5110, but they are better and there are some new ones aswell. For example, my 5110 had 3 games and so does my new 3210, but the 3210 has rotation instead of logic(which was rubbish). The 3210 is even easier to use than the 5110, which was already easy to use. The keypad is flatter and the buttons easy to press. In all the 3210 is an excellent all round phone which i would recomend to anyone. ...

A different phone altogether!
The Nokia3210e features predictive text input. By using its own built - in dictionary you can enter text with just one key stroke per letter. When you key in letters, the dictionary compares word possibilities with its database and automatically selects the word you're most likely to want.
The phone holds up to 90 names and numbers - however i need more! - these are held on the SIM Card, and its rechargeable NiMH battery gives 3 hours of talk time or up to 5 days on standby.
It has a number of other brillient features that make it even more fun to use, including picture messaging which allows you to send pictures from a built-in selection to other Nokia3210e users. And, it also has games, a calculator and an alarm clock.

New Nokia 3210 looks fun on the outside, but inside it means business. Nokia 3210 stands by for up to eleven days with the standard battery. And you can write messages fast with predictive text input. Even when you use Nokia 3210 just for fun - to keep in touch with your friends, when you are out in the evening - it's nice to know that there are some serious features inside. Features that make Nokia 3210 more dependable - like long operating times and dual-band operation. And features that make Nokia 3210 easier to use, like the all-purpose Navi Key and predictive text input, so you can write fast.Nokia 3210 is the first mobile phone with Xpress-on covers you can change on both sides - front and back. Snap off the front, snap off the back, and snap on a new cover to match your mood or to suit the situation. Rocket Silver for a party, or - who knows - Zircon Green for business. You can have any color your want. Graphic covers give you the possibility to get really wild Xpress-on covers for your phone, including a matching keypad. Predictive text input makes writing fast and easy. Instead of pressing each key one, two or three times, press it just once. The text input software decodes the keystrokes and scans the internal dictionary for matching words. With this software Nokia 3210 is much easier to use for writing short messages.
