Recently traded in my old Panasonic G450 that had served me so well for the past couple of years. There it hung on my belt like a brick compared to my swish new little gem the Nokia 3210.
This sleek and sexy little unit is a real change from the old clunker that I made do with for so long. It offer games to keep me amused when there's time to spare - it allows me to customise virtually every function and to personalise ring tones so that I can tell the difference between friends, family and the boss without having to even look at the screen to see who's ringing me.
The other bonus is the battery time - I was used to daily recharging with the old Panasonic but not so on the Nokia - if I don't make or receive any calls for upto a week there is still charge in the battery - I got 9 days out of it once. On the flip side though I find that a few quick calls can quickly deplete the battery if it's having to push beyond a local tower - during busy times I've noticed it drawing a lot of power.
The design of the phone is very good - with a very clear and readble screen - a good backlight - and as someone else said there's no aerial projecting into space to be snapped off at the first sign of an emergency. The menu system is extensive and quite intuitive.
The big bonus is that I got the phone for free as part of my subscription to the mobile service - and to top things off my provider gives me double the monthly subscription cost back in free calls - a good deal considering I mainly receive calls (I had my mum whinging because she could never contact me when I'm online - maybe that will change now I've bought her a computer)...
One concern I have is that it feels a little flimsy compared to my old Panasonic - but then again it hasn't taken any damage to date either.
There are a huge range of accessories for this model and the replaceable facia make it a potential fashion accessory.

Advantages: Sensible size with availability of very affordable, excellent hands-free car kit Disadvantages: In appearance beginning to look a little dated.
