When I got this phone about 5 months ago I didnt really know anything about them and I only picked the 3210 because it looked nice! Although my knowledge on mobile phones has increased I still like this phone because its cheap, very available, looks good and has enough features (bar the internet) to last you for ages.
Nowadays, you can get a mobile phone with almost anything built into it-the internet,a radio, probably even the kitchen sink! :P But for me,all I need is a cheap phone that can ring people and send text messages-which this phone does perfectly well (plus the games are an added bonus :) The phone is small and sleek and has an inbuilt aerial which is handy as you wont be constantly worrying that it's snapped off or anything! You can change the covers so if you dont like the colour of it,change it! However, some of the proper, licenced covers can get pricey so I'd only change it if I really didnt like it.
The phone is available on most tarrifs and so the prices of text messages and phone calls are independent to the respective tarrifs. Its also available on either pay as you go or monthly bills-the phone is usually free if you choose to pay by monthly bill but the price can reach around £50 if you choose pay as you go though.
The text messaging is easy to do and it also has a new programme which tries to predict which word youre going to write to try and reduce the time it takes, which however, can get very annoying and so I've ended up turning it off! When you get incoming text messages,if the phone number of the person who has sent you the text message is in your database then it'll come up with the name of who it is-making it a lot easier to identify whos sent you the message! Theres a large database for phone numbers, so it'll be quite rare that you'll run out of space in the database.
An added bonus is that you can create your own ringtones-it may not be as sophisticated as some modern phones but it does the job and as long as you have some kind of knowledge of how music works, its very easy to pick up. This is also one of the first phones to allow you to download ringtones from the net or from other companies, along with logos. Another bonus is the addition of a games section. This was a pleasant suprise-especially as I didnt even realise that this phone had them when I first got it! There are 3 games-snake (highly addictive game where you control a "snake" around a box in the screen to eat apples-each time you eat one,the snake gets longer-eventually filling the screen),theres rotation, which I personally cant stand but it seems to amuse some people and finally theres memory which is a simple game in which you have to remember symbols hidden under squares and try and match them up with the corresponding symbol elsewhere on the grid.
Reception is generally good throughout the country (as shown on the map you get with the phone) and although I live out in the countryside I hardly ever get problems.
The battery lasts for a good few hours (as long as your not contantly talking on it) and it only takes a few hours to charge right back up to full power-I find it easiest to put it on overnight.
All in all, I think that if you are after a phone that is relatively cheap and simple, not including the internet, thats slim and small (but not too small) buy this phone-itll be worth it! :)
een price! The integrated thermoswitch prevents overheating or overcharging and the polyswitch protects your rechargeable battery if anything short-circuits its contacts.

You should take a look at www.logomanager.co.uk - you can make your own logos and picture mesages... I'm saving up for a 3310.
