of the cost of original manufacturers and can be used in many makes and models of digital device. Rechargeable digital batteries are rated in "mAh" which stands for "milli-ampere hours". This rating is used to state the storage capability of a battery, e.g. a 1000mAh battery would be capable of delivering 1000mA of current consistently for one hour whereas a 2000mAh battery would deliver the same 1000mA of current for two hours. Li-on rechargeable digital batteries can deliver 40% more capacity than comparably sized NiCd batteries and weigh less than the nickel-based batteries and develop no memory effect. A built-in microprocessor safeguards the cells by limiting maximum voltage and by protecting against deep discharge, short circuit and overload.Brought to you byU-BopThe Accessories Boutique

Advantages: Small, no aerial, games, good battery life. Disadvantages: Superceded by 3310. Too many dodgy ring tones.

Having said that I expect the 3410 will be out soon!!

I upgraded my contract plan mobile last summer and went for the 3210e. It was free, provided I signed up for an additional 12 month contract, which is the norm. This 3 series Nokia has now been upgraded to the 3310 or 3310e, but is still available on both contracts and “pay as you go”. I assume this is due to a backlog of stock, whilst the 3310 establishes itself.
Having said that I expect the 3410 will be out soon!!
Aesthetics – It’s a nice small phone, with an internal aerial, so takes up little room in my jeans pocket. As mentioned, it has a blue/silver front with the back of the phone just black but with the Nokia logo.
The front and back of the phone are interchangeable; you can buy clip-on covers from many markets for a few quid. Beware though, they will not fit the phone as flush as the standard cover, or as one made by Nokia. (Of which there are only a few designs and cost £15)
The phone itself is full of features. It has a 90 name sim card memory, which means you can store details of 90 contacts on your sim card. The phone doesn’t have a phone memory however.
The phone is great as a phone! What I mean is that call quality is excellent, speed dialling is a time saver, the phone book menu is easy to use and set up. Caller ID is useful, so once a number is stored in your phone book, when that person calls, you know it’s them calling by the display.
You can set different ring-tones for different callers. Personally I have one standard (non-annoying) ring tone for everyone, and just have a special tune for my girlfriend’s numbers, so I always know straight away it’s her! And no, before you say, it’s not so I know NOT to answer her calls!!
As a SMS’ing phone, I cannot fault it. It’s simple and easy to enter text, both lower and upper case, and if you like, symbols can be added too. Useful for those smiley faces and so on. The SIM will store around 10 messages so your little inbox will quickly fill, but that is standard I believe. Caller-ID comes into play here, you can instantly see who the message is from. You can call a number directly from a text message, reply to a message or forward the message to someone.
As standard on Nokia’s are ring tones, ring tones, and more ring tones. These range from standard ranges of tones, through to awful renditions of old tunes. Most are annoying, personally, but they certainly appeal to loads of people, judging by the recent explosion of ring-tone companies! Quick tip, don’t pay £1.50 a minute for a tone, go to www.yourmobile.com and get them free. Better still; compose your own with Nokia Composer (Tones menu) It’s fiddly to understand but perseverance can yield results! I guarantee now you'll be able to compose something better than "Stan" or "Sandstorm"!!!
As is standard on modern Nokias, a games menu is included. The 3210e comes with Snake (my high score is 615, not great!), Rotation and Memory. None of these are exactly “Gameboy” beaters, but can kill a few moments on a train journey!
The E in 3210E relates to Orange as I mentioned earlier. Essentially this is washed out version of WAP, and enables you (for 10p per message) to get information via SMS on things such as news, weather, racing results by course, football news by team, lottery numbers and so on. Can work out expensive if you use it a lot, but is useful to have nonetheless.
Combine all the above pointers with a good battery life (I get 3 days), a quick set keylock (so you don’t accidentally dial anyone whilst sitting on your phone - NB you can still dial 999 whilst the phone is in lock mode) and a host of settings to fiddle with, this is a great budget phone from the world leader in mobile technology.
Recommended although bear in mind the availability of the 3310.
I have played with one of these and prefer it to the 3210. Best bet – check them both out before parting with hard earned.
Advantages: small, robust and it looks the part. Disadvantages: none that i know of.
The nokia 3210e is a excellent phone.
The nokia 3210 is a very stylish phone. When you buy it on prepay you get a metallic blue colour cover, with a black back.
The main screen of the phone. Has bars displaying the power left in your battery and the reception. In the middle there is a little orange logo. However this can be replaced by operator logos , so you can customise your phone. The size of the phones screen is a reasonable 2.5cm by 3.5cm. ... ...there is a nokia logo below them.
On the main menu there are 9 options

...plunge, I opted for the Nokia 3210e (with Orange). This was before the 3310 came out, but I'll talk about that later. Anyway, lets look at the phone in more detail. Size & weight:
--------------
For a start, its a nice size (in my opinion). It's not too big and not too small. It's about 11cm long, 4cm wide and 2cm deep (max). The depth varies as the phone is curved. This may seem large but infact, it's just the right size to sit against your face, ... ...from this; kudos to the Nokia designers. Weight wise, the phone is a touch on the heavy side compared to today's newer phones (the 3310 is about half the weight). Nethertheless, it is not noticably heavy.
Looks:
------
Believe it or not, the 3210 was the first phone to feature the "Xpress-on" covers. This allows you to choose the look of your phone, specifically, you can change the case (front and back) and the keypad. The 3210e comes with a blue ...

Advantages: No arial, feature packed, ideal beginners phone Disadvantages: Not as strong as its elder brother the 5110/5146
...3210 has quirky new features, Nokia had added (For the first time) moving menus to this phone. This adds no functionality, mind, but spices up the attractive factor. This phone is far nicer on the Orange Network, (My opinion anyway, due to the covers, and the outstanding service plans Orange offers)
The phone has a fairly large storage, including the SIM card, and so this is not a bad thing. There is the possibility to enable picture messages to ... ...that of the 5110, so Nokia have made a good update here.
However, the build quality is a little suspect, it does not have the 'dropability' of the Earlier 5110, and so this weakens the phones overall performance.
However, a tidy clean phone, for those who want to pose, and have good feature packed phone as well.
If you want a more physically able phone, then go to the 5110. ...

Advantages: All the features you could ever need Disadvantages: Could be so small it slips out of your pocket
The Nokia 3210 mobile phone has got to be the best of all time, demonstrated by it’s massive popularity. So what make the mobile phone what it is? **Advantages** Very small, light, and neat Looks brilliant, a very wide selection of custom click on covers, Getting Cheaper all the time (most expensive costing £99) Has some now famous games, like no other brand of phone, Snake, Rotation and Memory. Text Messaging Picture Messaging Answering Machine ... ...lock **Disadvantages** As it is so small and light it may slip/fall out of ones pocket. Many may want to steal it All your friends will most probably have the same phone Many will want the newer 3310, which may not be the better of the two. Fiddly On/Off switch. From looking above you will notice that the Disadvantage list is considerably shorter than the advantage list, just reinforcing how good this phone really is. It gives you every function ...

Advantages: Nice and Smooth Design Disadvantages: Slightly Out Dated
I have had my Nokia3210 for about two years now and have had to buy one twice as my first one that was with Orange got stolen. About two years ago these little phones would have been the newest and coolest mobile cell phones to have. Today however the 3210 is seen as some what primitive compared to the new 8210 and pictures phones. I have told people that there is no point in switching from phone to phone all of the time when you can just have on that does all of the functions you need.
The shops have stopped selling them and the only real way to purchase a Nokia3210 is either at a car boot sale or somewhere like ebay second hand. I knew however when I purchased the 3210 that after a while when all of the new phones that have handy little tricks came out the 3210 would fade into the past. I myself am proud of my phone even though ...

Advantages: Internal antenna, looks, ease of use, deals available nowadays Disadvantages: Lack of reception
There are some superb deals available with the Nokia3210e or just the 3210 nowadays, especially if becoming contracted. Having had the phone for a year, it is a relief that I can now finally cancel the contract and change the phone. A phone is very important for me and this is where the major disadvantage of the phone becomes a difficulty.
The problem is simple - the reception of the phone is very poor. EWndless times it has cut off during a phone call and it is very frustrating. There are other times when my friends have tried to call me but gone straight through to my answer phone whilst my phone has been turned on, due to a lack of reception.
This Nokia phone, as with all Nokias, has good functions and is very easy to use. You can dewals 3with £100 cashback now as well, if not better, if signing a 12 month contract ...
