This phone was already registered when it was bought so it saved me the hassle of ringing T-Mobile to register it! All I had to do was put the SIM card in, insert the battery and put the back cover on! This is all fairly simple to do. With the phone you also get a charger and a handbook, which tells you everything about the phone. My Nokia 3410 is a pay as you go mobile where you buy top up cards to avoid getting into lots of debt! You can also get a contract phone where you get a monthly bill.
* On The Menu * There are 11 headings on the phones main menu – Messages, Call Register, Profiles, Settings, Downloads, Reminders, Games, Applications, Extras, Services and t-zones plus (which obviously only applies to t-mobile phones).
* Features * Within the 11 headings you can: View your phone book and call people (of course) write and send text messages of up to 500 characters use predictive texting which is a quicker way of texting people store messages in your inbox and outbox request delivery reports so that your mobile will send you a message to tell you that a sent message has been delivered find out the dates and times people that have called you and the number from which they called and the numbers and times that you have called other people find out how much money you have on your phone without ringing a service stop your phone from making a noise when incoming calls or texts are received listen to and choose your ringtone and ringtone volume listen to and choose your message tone choose whether you want the keypad tone on or off choose whether you want the phone to vibrate when someone calls or not display the correct time on the main screen divert all your incoming calls to another phone write a welcome note which will be displayed when the phone is first turned on download games, images and tones from the internet set yourself a reminder – your phone will beep and display the reminder at time and date of your choice, for example a birthday play one of five games – snake II, Space Impact, Bumper, Bantumi and Link 5 use a calculator set an alarm clock use a stopwatch use a countdown timer compose a ring tone edit images turn your screensaver on/off get the latest info, sports, games, chat and fun sent to your mobile (probably for a price)
* What does the phone look like * The phone is a rounded rectangle shape and is about 10cm tall, 5 cm wide and 1.5cm thick. It has an internal aerial. The screen is about 3cm by 2cm and has a yellow background light as does the keypad. Above the screen there is the word ‘NOKIA’ and there are 5 small holes above that. These are where the sound comes from when someone on the other end of the phone line speaks. This is not where the ringtone sound comes from. The ringtone comes from three small holes in the left hand side of the phone. The on/off button is located at the very top of the phone and some people have complained that it is difficult to turn on and off! The cover of the phone is a green/ blue colour. There is also a white part going down just below the screen from the top of the phone. This is supposed to make the phone look attractive. You can also buy different covers for this phone There are hundreds of different colours, patterns and pictures you can get them in! The covers cost between £10 and £20, but can be found cheaper on markets etc. You can also buy different keypads for the phone. The keypad has 18 buttons in horizontal lines of three! The numbers 1,2 and 3 are all joined together, as are 4,5and 6 to each other and 7,8 and 9! This shouldn’t be a problem as it is very difficult to press 1 instead of 2, for example. The two top rows of buttons are the main keys, which are used to go up and down on menus, call or hang up the phone and enter or exit menus!
* My view * At first I found this phone quite difficult to use, but I got the hang of it after a few days. It is one of the more simple phones at the moment. If you’re not looking for a top of the range phone with all the latest features, such as photo and video messaging, but a simple, easy to use phone then this is probably a good phone for you! It’s not the most attractive of phones – the cover isn’t a very nice colour – green/ blue, but the cover can be changed! While a lot of the newer phones cost over £300 the Nokia 3410 only costs £69.95! It gets good reception and the battery life is a long time. It has plenty of features, but it isn’t top of the range. It’s good enough for me though!

...shape but maybe slightly larger. Nokia has gone for a slightly different keypad layout this time but the phone is still very easy to use. The phone weighs roughly 114g. The phone has a built in antenna which has become quite common in mobiles now. The keypad is relatively easy to use and the keys are of a reasonable size. The display screen is also a good size so that it is easy to see what you're doing.

The mobile has a ringtone composer so that you can create your own ringtones as well as download them. You also have the choice of a vibrating alert when your phone rings or you recieve a message.
As well as a ringtone composer the mobile comes with a choice of screensavers including 3D animated ones. These can be a lot of fun especially the ones that involve text that you can edit to say ...

Advantages: Reliable, simple to use, good buttons Disadvantages: Small b&w screen, not very gadgety
I bought the Nokia 3410 a year and a quarter ago (15 months ago) and it's still going strong. I have the barest amount of stratches, no bugs or glitches with the electrical side of things despite one mishap involving melted chocolate, the battery has lasted well (its Li-ion battery lasts a long time if you look after it - the main thing to remember is to recharge the phone when it reaches one bar, not before). Anyway. I got this at Argos, T-mobile ... ...is about 4 and a half inches long, 3/4 inch depth, 2 inches wide and about 114g heavy (or light). One word of warning: Club Nokia is annoying. I don't recommend signing up to them, it's difficult to stop their spam once they get hold of your details. ...

Advantages: good range of features, nice looks Disadvantages: Not any noticeable disadvantages
Having lived off the nokia 3330 model from quite some time I was eager to get my hands on the new model and was impressed when i got it.
The size of the phone is pretty much the same as the 3310 or 3330. It has a good size screen and keypad which is very good because it is always easy to see what you are doing and texts are easy to send without fumbling.
The phone comes with a very large range of features and games. The games include snake 2, space ... ...advertised on ‘trigger happy TV’ nokia ring tone. The composer option allows you to be quite creative with making your ringtones because the tempo can be changed and you can pretty much have the potential to make any of the ring tones you hear.
The phone costs on an average pay as you go contract approximately 80 pounds. However if you buy the phone on a contract you can have it for free and pay the monthly line rental of £14.99. Also calls are ...

...is my review of the Nokia 3410 mobile phone.
Christmas 2003, my phone is old, it’s a brick, its an embarrassment but to be honest despite all this I was still shocked to find a brand new Nokia 3410 underneath the tree. I was really happy with my new phone, but I didn’t know much about this model and to be honest prior to writing this review couldn’t have told you the model number because I don’t pay much attention to these minor details, although ... ...for some reason?

Advantages: looks, simplicity Disadvantages: not very well equiped
This is a really good phone. The best thing about it is its looks. JUST LOOK AT IT! Even without a camera it is still a popular phone. It is also really cheap. It is really easy to just slip into your pocket as its really slim. The chrome round it makes it look even better. The battery life is great as it doesn't have any features to power! That is a good thing though. It makes it a simple easy to use phone. The only snag though is it isn't really any better technically than the Nokia3410. It looks better but thats the only difference between the two. Infact the Nokia3410 is actually better equiped then the Sagem my 150x because it has a good selection of games and the Sagem doesn't. If I had the choise I would actually go for the Nokia3410. In saying that not many people would like to go around with a 7 year old phone ...

This is a great ?business man? phone with Bluetooth ,WAP/GPRS,infrared, Which make it a phone that is worth the retail price but the size of it lets it down a bit because it a whopping 129mm long and quite ?fat? around the speaker. Still with monophonic ring tones rather than polyphonic like the Sony CMD-J5 released two years before but that didn?t Bluetooth infrared ect.so the nokia for me has been a reliable and durable phone for me as it can keep charge for a long time and it quick and simple to use. It was handed down to me after my dad and brother had both used it and had been happy with it. It has good Bluetooth signal and picks up network signal when newer phones don?t (nokia3410).while using it as a phone e.g. talking to someone you can control the speaker volume with a small button on the side which naturally your fingers are ...
