Nokia 3410

I've been a mobile phone user for about six years now and always used Nokias. I find them easy to use and reliable, and the 3410 is no exception.

The operation of the phone is very easy to follow and logical. My elderly mother bought her first mobile this year, a 3410 at my recommendation. She was concerned that she would find it complicated and confusing but was pleasantly surprised at how she adapted to it and how easy to use it was. My young daughter, aged 4, also has no trouble accessing the games she loves (and that thankfully keeps her quiet in the car) We also run a youth club and 99% of the young people there carry Nokias, 3310 and 3410 mostly. So as you can see it is a phone for all ages.

The 3410 carries a good range of features, most of which I don't use but I'm sure the seasoned mobile user would find useful. The games are good,(these include, SnakeII, Space Impact, Bumper, Bantumi and my personal fav...Link5), it has internet capabilities and I find the predictive texting invaluable, cuts texting time down by half. The profiles feature I find very handy and you can set a different ringtone for each contact so you know who's calling without having to look. The Speed dialing and voice dialing are also useful There are also some useful features for when you are away from home, these being the alarm clock and calculator, and I'm never without the stopclock when boiling eggs, perfect everytime! The picture texts and screen savers also add a bit of fun!

The 3410 is also very easy to personalise, which is particularly attractive to younger users. There is a good range of xpress on covers from most phone outlets, fun if not a little pricey, and the 3410 is compatible with most ringtone, logo and game downloads (it comes with 35 Ringtones preprogrammed). You can even download virual pets onto it now! All this helps to make your creative mark on your handset.

The 3410 is excellent value for money, and very sturdy, I'm always dropping mine and it stays intact, yet lightweight and will easily fit in a pocket. The keypad is easy to use, some other models I find too small and the keys too close together. The battery life is very long, (one tip, always allow your battery to completely run down before recharging, this extends the battery life) I've always had Nokias and I've never been disappointed with them and I think the 3410 is the best yet.
