Hi. Just an average guy with high demands. I like things robust, cheap, and preferably avaliable in green. If you want a review on any outdoor products, ask me.

This is the phone as used by NEARLY ALL builders and people with active jobs e.g. military etc.
This phone has lasted me over a year and so far has survived: - Being dropped in the bath and forgotten about - Played football with - Drops and bangs - Outdoor exercises, assault courses, rain, mud etc.
Good features I like: - Predictive text (for those who can't text like a schoolboy, it makes it much quicker by guessing words before you type each letter in) - Stopwatch and timer - Quite a loud alarm (not as loud as 3410) - Easy to remove case (only two parts)
The waterproofing does decline with age though - the rubber seal degrades. But you can buy new cases - £24.99 though, and they only have a few colours. As it gets older as well, dropping it can make the case open, but no damage is done.
Doesn't have fancy things like colour screen or annoying polyphonic ring tone - more or less just a phone for people who just need a tough phone. Does do WAP though, and has the snake game on it.
Vital Stats:
Price/Avaliability: Hard to find new in shops; easy to get new on eBay, price around £50 - excellent value. Accessories in case: Usually comes with baby blue cover, charger, instruction manual, and a strap that isn't really worth using. Weight: Quite Light Size: Just over 4" long Comparison to new "Active" Nokia phone 5100: I have heard from other people it is more robust although it doesn't have so many features. Features: Quite a lot, too many to list, but basics are: - Messaging - Call register - Changable "profiles" (i.e change ring tone, options for silent use etc.) - Alarm clock - 5 games - Calculator - Calendar, which can tell you when important things are (TV programmes, birthdays etc.) - Countdown timer (useful for when cooking) - Stopwatch - Thermometer (which isn't accurate, tends to tell your body temperature more than the outside conditions) - WAP
I would not have any other phone.

Nice first op and good start. But more detail needed on things like price, availability and features would be nice to make a decision. If you update will happily re-rate. Good luck. Christina ;-)

I want this phone i always lose mine to water damage, Julia
Advantages: Small, sporty look, durable waterproof, many gimmicks! Disadvantages: thermometer unreliable and covers expensive and limited to different colours!

Review of Nokia 5210
Advantages: The games keep you entertained! Disadvantages: the screen fades, the battery power is temperamental and it has a tendency to randomly switch itself off!!
