Advantages Advantages Easy to use, great battery life, great introduction to smartphones!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very rare occasions of battery charge failure.

I first found out about this phone as a possibility when I returned a review rate, and read a review of it on Ciao. It sounded ideal for me, so I also checked the ratings and comments on Revoo which bore out what I'd already read. It's a fairly straightforward touchscreen smartphone, with a reputation of having a longer battery life than many of the others that were options for me when I was thinking of changing my phone. This is my first smartphone and first touchscreen, so it was a bit daunting but I was allowed to try it in the shop and I reckoned I'd get on with it ok with a bit of ... more

Advantages Advantages Durable, good battery, easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I physically sigh when I realise it’s that time of year again where I have to upgrade to another phone. I feel like these days it’s as important a decision as re-mortgaging. It seems that every other day there is a new phone with new capabilities and I end up feeling like an over the hill and out of date old fogey than the 30 something that I am. Mr E is frequently breaking and destroying phones due to the fact he works on building sites and I have therefore only got friends and work colleagues to keep updated about what is in and hip (Christ almighty did I just say that?). So after realising ... more

Advantages Advantages Sound Quality, Ease of Use, Bright, Loud, Good Substitute MP3 Player

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad Internet Capabilities, Rubbish Apps, Slowly deteriorating battery

Mobile phones today are all about cameras, internet and applications. Frankly I think its a bit silly, you want a camera buy a camera because a. its bound to have better resolution, more mega pixels etc. and b. you don't look pathetic trying to take a decent photo with a phone. But seriously, this phone is fine, its a touch screen with a measly 2megapixel camera thats more than enough for a quick snapshot of friends and events if you must. It can be used to surf a minor portion of the web (at great expense) but internet capability clearly isn't this phones forte. If like me, you want a phone ... more

OVERVIEWGood value for money, a phone with lots of features whilst being good at the main phone functions of texting and phoning.GOOD POINTSSignal - Getting signal can be a problem with many phones now, however the Nokia 5230 is generally good in this area. The only issue I have had with regards to signal is when inside large buildings a data signal is hard to receive making connecting to the internet difficult.Navigation - The phone has a well laid out menu where different applications and functions of the phone are stored. You can also download apps from the internet, they are stored under ... more

Advantages Advantages screen, the keyboard when turnt to the side, ease of use, the number of alarms you can set

Disadvantages Disadvantages All i would say is the 2 megapixel camera and no flash

This phone is AMAZING I had a swap from 3G as the mobile they first provided me with had all kinds of problems. I think that this is one of the best mobiles I’ve had for a while, it has a nice big screen which when the phone is turned side ways also goes side ways, which is more handy for when texting as it come up with a keyboard which I do find more easy. It has a number of the usual Nokia features but I think the most helpful feature is the sat nav it’s amazing as I travel around a can get lost easy, it also has a weather feature which helps as well. The buttons are easy to use there’s ... more
