Advantages Advantages Musci quality, portability, look.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Picture quality is somewhat poor.

On my wedding anniversay my wife was requesting me for gifting her with a new mobile phone but I thought of a diamond ring instead and the phone was kept pending. But on her 34th birday I could not prevent buying her a phone. As Nokia is my choice of preference, I stepped confidently to a Nokia showroom to look for the model around. My budget for the phone was limited and so I have to restrict to a phone which is cheaper and got all the facilities to support the fuctions of my wife. I selected the cute looking Nokia 5300 Xpress Music. The phone comes in a variety of colours and I preferred the ... more

Advantages Advantages Stylish, Easy to use, Great graphics, music and picture quality

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not very durable

I have owned the Nokia 5300 for about 6 months now and I am currently on handset number 3. I own the phone as part of a contract and so it was free. At the time it was retailing for £135, but has since come down in price considerably. I was initially impressed with the graphics of the phone. This one was on the reasons for me choosing it, as it is far superior to its predecessor, the 5200. It has a very smart look to it, with a slide effect at the front to get to the buttons. A welcome change from the standard flip phones we constantly see. It is very lightweight, with all the relevant search ... more

Advantages Advantages Funky casing, lovely display, lots of personalisation options

Disadvantages Disadvantages Camera sort of average, infrequently used features

I have owned two of these Nokia 5300s, both bought at their initial PAYG price of £129 on T-mobile. My first one was stolen while I was at work, stolen by a customer (nice). I had only had the phone about a month, but as I had refused the insurance I had to buy another full price one in January 2007. I needed a new phone because my Dad needed one for work contacts so I agreed to give him my old one and I was to come off contract anyway. I chose the Nokia 5300 because I had owned a Nokia way back when (the 3410, my first ever phone, with Snake II, those were the days!) and liked the interface ... more

I enjoyed this phone as it works well and has lots of funcionality. My best phone yet! I have never used a phone which offered such a good price to features ration ever and I am glad thta I purchased this phone for the tiny price of £60, wh9ich in my mind was a complete bargain in reality to how much you could pay for a phone these days. In conclusion, an excellent phone with all of the features you would ever need, 1.3 megapixel camera, great TFT screen, excellent music and mp3 player, lous speakers, lots of cool 3d games to play on! If you want a cheap phone at a reasonable price, then go ... more

Advantages Advantages Cool design, easy to use, good music capabilities, cheap.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life, compatibility with itunes.

I bought this phone at the weekend from Phones4U. I am a self confessed fashion misfit when it comes to phones, so had really only a few things on my wishlist: Must be able to record (my terrible saxophone playing), must be able to download my own music for ringtones, must be under £100. At £69, which incluede a £10 top up, I reckon I got a bargain, especially as this model is for sale on the Nokia site for £130. The staff member (I think he was about 12) was very helpful and told me that this phone could do all of those things, I asked about directly downloading from itunes and he assured me ... more
