The Nokia 5500 is a good phone . It has a strong steel cover and it is closed with a coin so the back doesn't come off until you use a coin and turn it clock wise to open . My husband is a building contractor and needed a phone that was sturdy, and splash and water resistant. It is packed with features like blue tooth, mp3 player, and a radio. It also has a 2 meg camera., we uses to take photos of his building jobs in progress and finished . The 5500 is also supplied with a 512 micro SD card, which is a very good extra. It has a message reader so you can listen to your text messages, which is good when you are working. Plus a Sports mode including exercise monitoring, pedometer, exercise diary, and program planner, for the exercise addict. It can be a bit confusing to people not up on, or comfortable with using mobile phones , because there is so many options. overall it is a great sturdy phone.
