I upgraded to the 6020 3 months ago making me qualified in my opinion to provide an overview of the product and what I think of it in general.
Priced at £129.99 to buy on it's own, the 6020 cost me only £19.99 as part of an upgrade package. I see this as a fair price for a good Nokia phone and reasonable given that Nokia phones tend to be hard wearing and good value for money. I would say however that I wouldn't pay in excess of £100, it simply is not worth that sort of expenditure.

Feature wise the 6020 has everything you could possibly expect from an up to date Nokia and best of all every feature is very easy to use and mastering every aspect of the phone takes no more than an hour. The built in camera is located on the back of the phone and takes great photos and video clips up to 50 seconds long. The photos are clear in good light but look cloudy and dull if not in perfect sunlight or a well lit room. The video clips are poor. The seem jerky and the audio quality is poor unlike more recent versions like the Nokia N70.
The standard Nokia menu contains:
Messages - SMS and MMS messaging is done from this section. Within the SMS section you can view the inbox, sent text messages and drafts. MMS messages that contain pictures can be viewed from the MMS inbox or the pictures can be saved to the gallery.
Call register - This section lists all calls made, received and missed along with the duration and time of call.
Contacts - All contacts are stored here. I currently have 35 and the memory isn't near full yet.
Settings - The phones settings (ringtones, wallpapers, themes, language etc) can be altered here. You have the option of personalising the phone with a ringtone set at a specific volume level etc.
Gallery - Themes, ringtones and wallpapers are stored here and can be viewed or played via this section.
Media - This section controls the pictures taken and video recording. Any pictures saved from the camera remain here unless specifically moved the gallery.
Organiser - This sections has sub menus for the alarm clock, calendar, to do list and a notes section akin to a memo pad on outlook.
Applications - There are 4 pre-installed games on the 6020 which are of poor quality. Ten Pin bowling, Backgammon 2, Beach Rally and Puzzle. I never play the games due to the poor quality. If I want to play games on the move I use my PSP.
WAP - The phone comes WAP enabled and can be used to access websites - I use Vodafone live and find it to be quick and reliable.
The only piece of technology missing from the phone is bluetooth and for this I cannot really grumble. I have never used it when I've owned phones with it so I can't say I miss it. Obviously if you have a bluetooth headset this phone isn't for you.
Battery life is very good. The battery lasts on stand by for up to 6 days and with heavy use it still retains a charge for anything up to 4 days at a time before being completely drained. Charging is simple and takes around 4 hours to fully charge from drained.
I am pleased with the 6020. It makes clear calls with sound quality crystal clear and I never have any issues with the software crashing or being cut off mid call. If you want a new Nokia, go for the 6020 but try to get in on an upgrade. It isn't worth the price being asked in most highstreet mobile phone stores.
Advantages: A neat and tidy, simple to use phone. Disadvantages: Not a flip or slide phone if you see that as a disadvantage?!
...on phones such as the Nokia 3210, the menu can be accessed on one screen simply by pressing the joystick when on the home screen. From here you can access the following menus:

The Nokia 6020 can be found in comet at the moment for around £60. It is on T-Mobile in that store. I had to pay a £15 fee to get it unlocked from that network so watch out for that! Prices in other places range up to about £100 so it's worth shopping around a bit. Of course, prices are always falling as new models are brought out so you should get a pretty good deal.
This may appear on dooyoo too - not copied work, all mine! ...

Advantages: Good screen, Joystick, looks good Disadvantages: No Bluetooth, No memory card option
When Nokia started to become a really popular mobile phone manufacturer back in the 90's, they generally released a couple of phones a year. Since then, they have released more and more phones to the extent that unless it is the subject of a large advertising campaign, a lot of their range is largely anonymous. The Nokia 6020 is an example of such a phone. I got mine a year ago after taking out a pay monthly contract with Orange and I can not believe ... ...are greeted with the da-de-dum-dum-dum Nokia tune and the phone springs into life. LOOKS
I think this phone is alright looking but it looks like so many nokia's out there. So many of them look so similar it's hard to tell which is which. If there weren't all those phones this phone would be quite good looking. SIZE
This phone is a nice size to fit nicely in your hand. The specifications are 10.6cm x 4.4cm x 2cm
It fits nicely into your pocket it is no brick weighing a average weight of most phones 90g.

I received my Nokia 6020 in July 2005 and it still works perfectly. I brought it from O2 Ireland for approximately €129 with €80 credit. Its a pay as you go phone. The Nokia 6020 is a camera phone and is wap enabled. There is infrared but no bluetooth on the phone.

Advantages: Small, lightweight, price, easy to use Disadvantages: No bluetooth, no zoom on camera
Nokia never seem to upset people with their phones, and this is no exception.
The 6020 is a typical "candybar" design, both small and lightweight at a mere 90g and with a 65,536 colour screen what more do you want.
I bought the 6020 on Orange pay as you got for £54.95 which is a very reasonable price for a Nokia of this calibre. It boasts an integrated VGA camera and the ability to record video up to 50 seconds long. Unfortunately there is no zoom ... ...network that both Orange and Nokia are aware of. When you join Orange they send a "Welcome" MMS message, which on these handsets CANNOT be deleted. The only way to delete the message is to get it "reflashed" back to its original factory settings (before even Orange got hold of them) which clears all the settings. Unfortunately when I took my first 6020 to be "reflashed" there was such a bad software problem on the phone that it couldn't even be "booted" ...

Advantages: It charges the phone Disadvantages: The first one i had broke, the second one is on the way out.
The problem with writing a review about a phone holder which only holds the blandest of the Nokia range is that you soon jump through the Stargate in to a world of boring facts, because lets be honest it's a phone holder. Imaging the lion the witch and the wardrobe (CS Lewis's clumsy allegory on Christianity) if rather than finding a magical world of talking Lions you ended up in Tipton on a wet Wednesday and your bumped in to Clive from Accounts who races model cars at the weekend, he is a nice guy and you would get closer but he has that smell that 46 year old men have, the ones that still live with there mothers, the ones Alan Bennet always writes about.
So the holder is pretty dull to look at, it's got that black plastic with a tinge of silver just to add class look about it. The phone slots in, and charges, the snag is that ...
Advantages: Bluetooth, Clear Screen, Easy to Use and Stylish Disadvantages: No Camera
The phones design is stylish and funky, and very buisness like as are the features. This phone doesn't come with camera as the model below and identical (Nokia6020) has.
Battery
The battery life of this phone is very long unlike some phones that last a day this one lasts for at the most a week. This is a great battery life compared to some other phones
Conclusion
Overall I would recommend this phone to someone that wants style and funk but doesn't want to many overactive features. ...

supporting in excess of 60,000 colours. Personally I cannot tell the difference between the display on this phone and my new Nokia6020. In a nutshell, the lack of colours does not affect the quality of the phone in any way.
One of the major factors that left me impressed with the 2600 aside from the range of features and the ease of use associated with any Nokia mobile phone was the battery life. The 2600 is powered by BL-5C Lithium battery with official Nokia statistics stating that it should remain charged for 250 hours on standby and should provide 3.5 hours of talk time. From experience I found that I could attain anything up to 5 hours talk time over a 4 day period with plenty of juice remaining in the battery. I was impressed.
The 2600 is very easy to use and retains all of the standard features associated with Nokia. It has ...
