In February 2008, I decided to upgrade my contract as I had grown attached to my manky old phone (even though it was unable to retain it's charge for more than 4 hours!) which meant that I hadn't upgraded my phone or contract for the 4 years I'd had it!. I wandered into my local vodafone shop with my heart set on buying the Nokia N95 8gb, but the shop assistant said that the Nokia 6110 would be more apt for me due to it having a build in Sat Nav system and all the wants and needs I'd specified for my new mobile phone. As soon as I held the Nokia 6110 I fell in love with it, it's sturdy and feels unbreakable, and the slide system is very smooth.
I've now had my Nokia 6110 for almost 3 months now and I couldn't have wished for a better phone. The camera lens is fantastic, and the phone features a miniature slide cover to protect the lens (so it won't get scratched or damaged), when this cover is slid back, the camera program instantly starts up so you can start to record videos or take pictures right away. The picture quality is great and look as though they were taken with a purpose built digital camera when uploaded onto your computer. The video quality is a little less clear, but it's still brilliant for a mobile phone, and there's no jumpiness, the video flows without any pauses.
The sound quality in the Nokia 6110 is fantastic, MP3s can be played back on loud speaker and they won't lose any of their clarity. The speakers are very loud and the volume can be adjusted easily by two buttons (+/-) on the side of the phone.
The inbuilt (completely FREE!) sat nav system is excellent, it's very fast when calculating the best route, and gives clear instructions. It does, however, eat up battery power, but as long as you have an in car charger, this won't be an issue. You can also set the Sat Nav to Pedestrian mode, so you can easily find the place you want to go, and you can also search for nearby attractions, shops, pubs, clubs and restaurants. It's like having a personal assistant in your pocket!.
I honestly can't say enough good words about the Nokia 6110 Navigator, it's definately the best phone I've played around with and it's highly doubtful you'll be disappointed with it!.

This has to be the best phone I have ever owned. It has so many features I was astounded.
The GPS is fantastic, almost on par with TomTom and way better than the N95. Directions are clear and concise and at an audible volume.
The camera being only 2 MP takes average quality pictures and the inclusion of a flash is an added bonus. The sliding lens cover is a great feature as well as I use my phone for work sometimes and was always getting grit/dust ... ...is excellent but this wil vary with provider. The keypad layout is fine and I believe the keys to be spaced perfectly. My only concern is the central joypad key, it does seem a bit wooly and I guess it may break with heavy handed users. Shame that its missing infra-red and wi-fi connectivity but it dows have Bluetooth and USb which both provide speedy connections with PC. ...

...really good quality and downloading to computer is quick and simple using Nokia software. Also video quality is excellent with very little distortion of sound when using at live events.
Quite an expensive phone but if you need navigator and a new phone then this is a really good option. ...

...to use as with all Nokia phones, also has tutorial section on phone if you don't feel confident in just playing with it, but I will stress it will take time as it is fairly slow but very informative.
Best feature is the fact it will transfer all contacts and calendar entries from your old phone, as a bluetooth connection, also transfers your PC calendar and Office documents to view but you do have to plug into the PC. (Not likely to use this though). ... ...the phone, this way you have the ability of a mobile office.
Camera is only 2MP but still is very clear, also you can take a picture of yourself without having to turn the phone around, also has a cover over the lens on the back so it doesn't scratch or get dusty which I have found with some phones. Video calling is also available (Not used yet!), also voice recordings were clear. Sound is perfect transferred all my old tunes accross no problem ...

This phone is great. With quick access to your messages and satelite navagation it is a great phone for somone who is always on the go. its music player is of high quality and its speakers give amaing sound and volume.
The camera is great at 2.0 megapixels with a decent zoom and flash. the memory on the phone is ok and with a memory card solt that allows you to insert an extra 1 or 2 gigs you can turn it into your own personal p3 player or camera. ... ...computer along with very easy transport of data.
It does take a small while to get used toof memory you and on my phone one of the buttons broke after about a month but one i got it fixed it was perfet .
Its a great phone and I would reccommend it to anyone ...
