Advantages: It's a Nokia, plain and simple, but funky too ;) Disadvantages: Samsung have been doing this for months
...other model) and finally, the Nokia 6111 came up on my upgrade list. She cost me a mere £20, although I'm sure she would be free for new subscribers. And she isn't yet available on pay as you go. My little 6111 says I'm cutting edge, on a contract, and have to wait 12 months before I get another new phone, but at least I won't have to shove someone elses socks down my pants!!
**The initial downfall, and recycling!**
After the first phone arrived ... ...the capabilities of each subsequent Nokia that brings a smile to my face, green screen to colour, colour to camera, camera to video, and finally, what is now, a mega pixel, multi zoom camera, 60 minute movie making, large screen phone.
**What's in the box?**
My phone (wooohoooo!), battery, charger, loads of bumph I will never ever read (sigh!) and the radio earphones. There is no memory card as with the 6230, the memory on this baby is all internal! ...

Advantages: Stylish, lightweight, elegant, lots of fun and interesting features. Bluetooth enabled. Disadvantages: Not very rugged or durable.
...soon as I held the Nokia 6111 in my hands, I knew it was something special. In fact, you can tell that from a mile away. The fact is, it's a great phone, with most of the features you'll ever need, but make sure you look at it often, because if you drop it from a reasonable height onto a hard surface, it may not survive.
When you switch the phone on, it flashes with several colours of lights and you hear the Nokia tune. This is probably normal for ... ...trying to say though. The Nokia 6111 contains many features of the average mobile phone and more. It has a megapixel camera, which is also capable of video capture. The quality of the photos are good, which are colourful and sharp, but still not digital camera standard. The video function works well and produces a reasonably good video quality. You can easily distinguish between what everything is in the video, but again, don't expect digital camera ...

Advantages: Lots Disadvantages: Setting up sim card and battery is a bit tricky
...and there it was the nokia 6111... the pink one.
I had a quick look at the information booklet included and worked out how to insert the sim card and battery, i found both of these quite tricky to do but it was worth it. It was annoying having to charge it up for however many hours before i could explore the phone properly (but then you need to do this with all mobile phones). This christmas i'd have had the Nokia 6111 for a year, I have dropped ... ...after I got the pink nokia I saw exactly the same phone in a baby blue colour and i liked that colour too... though the pink one is prettier looking. I think I'll be keeping this phone for a while yet as i've had no problems with it. ...

Advantages: Compact, small and relatively easy to use, fantastic camera. Disadvantages: Small keypad buttons for big fingers.
Appearance:
The first thing you notice abot the 6111 is that when it is in it's compact form there are only 6 buttons visable. These allow you to do just about anything, including calling out, playing games, changing settings and most other functions of the phone. So why does it have a keypad? Simply to enter new numbers and for text messaging. Is this a good thing? Yes, this makes the phone look very stylish and reasonably simple to use, as the ... ...everything. Messaging: The phone has the ability to create the following;
-Text Messages
-Multimedia Messages
-Flash Messages
-Audio Messages
When sending a text message, there are a range of emoticons, rather than just arranged symbols. The phone allows you to have up to three messages linked as one message. The tool used for writing and sending text messages, is very simple, it allows the user to first select a recipient and then to write ...

Advantages: Small, compact and easy to use Disadvantages: Feels quite plastic and flimsy, and what happened to standard Nokia chargers?
...releasing the hugely successful 6230i, Nokia spent a long time concentrating on 3G handsets and budget pay as you go phones rather than the middle ground of the market. Then came along the 6111. Hallelujah! Finally, Nokia fans had something decent and affordable to upgrade to. Gone were the days of mobile phone sellers like myself recommending 6230i's to people who already had 6230i's and having no other mid-range Nokia as a backup option.
Features-wise, ... ...songs.
Still, it's different. Nokia haven't done much in the way of slide phones, and this one is small and sleek and appealing. The software, as always, is very user-friendly, although there have been a couple of layout changes (eg text messaging) compared with previous models.
Unfortunately, it feels quite flimsy and the buttons are very...plastic. I own a Samsung D600 and the build quality seems so much better than the 6111's I've worked with. ...
