Whenever I am between phones or my latest phone has an issue, this is my old faithful. I've had it for a good 6 years now and it has never failed me. Being one of my first colour phones I grew... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to Use, Changable cover, has Bluetooth, good battery life

Disadvantages Disadvantages like any other mobiles, it stops working if you drop it in liquids.

This is basically one of the coolest mobiles I have owned. Like most of the Nokia branded mobiles, it is simple to use and does not have to many complications like the modern mobiles of today. I know that I have owned more than eight different mobiles in the last seven years which is quite a low and is not good for the environment. This Nokia 6230i just happened to be in the midst of these mobiles and it is a shame that it left me before I was fully satisfied which is more of a shame really. I actually bought this mobile on the beginning of the year 2006. Quite a shame that I dropped the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Small, light, robust

Disadvantages Disadvantages An olde model, hard to get hold of

Nokia 6230i Silver Grey I had one of these as my last phone which I have just replaced with a newer more updated model of Nokia. Throughout the time I had my 6230i I loved it, it was reliable, durable and I never had a single problem with it for well over a year. I dropped it millions of times and still it never broke apart from the case scratching. It was easy to use and understand and had lots of features and settings that I found useful and fun which made me definitely want another Nokia after this model About the 6230i Features It has lots of different features including *1.3 mega-pixel ... more

Advantages Advantages Monoblock (not a flip phone), easy to use, compact

Disadvantages Disadvantages Echo-y sound, disappointing battery life

I've only ever owned Nokia mobile phones, three different models - 3210e, 8210i and the 6610i. I've found them to be robust, easy to use and typically, just the right size to be able to carry about. I've only ever had one problem with one of the phones, too. Just before Christmas 2005, my Nokia 6610i died. I had a major disagreement with my network operator, Orange because the phone was only four days over the usual 12-month guarantee period and I thought they showed an amazing lack of flexibility in offering a repair or direct replacement. As a result, I cancelled my account with Orange and ... more

    Advantages Advantages Multi-media wonderland

Disadvantages Disadvantages It's a bit ugly, but aren't we all?!

It's hard to describe an amalgamation of various plastics and a no doubt complex system intelligent microchips and other devious electronics, with too much verve or affection, but that is the task or the affliction if you will, which I have set myself today. You see as I have discovered on two previous occasions writing reams and spiels on a portable talk box can often be a dry and fairly inconsequential activity. In an attempt to buck this trend for moribund writing on modern technology, I will attempt to write an engaging review on my latest contraption the Nokia 6230i. The greatest ... more
