I had this phone for about a month now, currently its a great buy for Under £150 in most places and can be bought for around £130. Before I even start reviewing the phone, I will have to warn buyers that this phone is locked on most networks in the UK and uses a new network lock (so called BB5). Unlocking remotely via codes is not possible unlike in older nokia's (6230 and 6230i being its predecessor).
The only way to unlock at the moment is to contact the network to lift the restriction and this will usually set you back around £15. So please choose the phone on the network of your choice. So lets start with the package:

No USB cable!! Dont worry you can buy a generic dku-2 cable for £6.60
64 mb memory card, the phone has very little memory and depends on the memory card for store, 64 mb is clearly not enough so I recommend a 1 GB Micro-SD for an upgraded storage of music and videos and other applications|
Nokia PC suite CD, this may not the the latest version so better to check the nokia website to download latest version.
The phone itself is the candy bar, no flair but sleek looking nokia that looks conservative and doesn't shout look at me, I'm wild! The buttons are spaced out clearly and feels very confortable to touch and press and gives good feedback. Nokia should be given credit for using such no-nonsense buttons. Turning on the phone : You can turn on the phone without using the Sim card and still use all non sim card activities such as taking pictures and playing music ( may be useful when on the plane). There is also a seperate flight mode profile which prevents all radio frequencies from transmitting including radio and bluetooth.
Camera and Video: The phone has an generic 2 megapixel camera that takes average quality pictures (due to lack of autofocus) that is worse than that of the Sony Ericsson k750i. However, reasonable pictures can be taken outdoors with night mode on and subject being more than 80 cm from the lens ( no macro pictures possible). there is no flash which may annoy some users. The video recording facility should be praised, supporting up to VGA resolution that is worth watching on the PC. Recording at such high resolution will use up the standard 64 mb memory card quickly! Encoding videos to play on the 6233 is easy and I recommend "Super" Video converter for that, full screen mode is possible and video looks nice and clear.
HOWEVER, the phone does not have fast forward/rewind functionality when playing videos and this is probably the biggest disadvantage in this phone, nokia simply forgot! Although a disadvantage, a normal user could simply split big videos to smaller sections.
Music and radio
Music player is basic but enough for most users, you can create playlists by connection phone to computer via bluetooth or dku-2 cable and using the nokia music manager in the PC suite. There are options to specify music source, 5 pre-built equaliser setting as well as 2 customisable ones . the headphones sound decent, but not amazing, Stereo loud Speakers enhance the depth and loudness of the music and sounds amazing without the distortions experienced in other phones. you can use your mp3 as a ringtone and it sounds good! loudspeaker volume is high and definately louder than k750i and nokia 6230/6230i. Radio is standard and because of stereo speakers, sounds good when playing.
Calls and related functions : The in phone phonebook allows for only 500 contacts and this may be a limitation for some business users, however as you can add home phone number, mobile and email adresses to one contact so its not too bad. Call quality is clear and person on other side can hear very clearly as well. You can record calls however a beep is heard every few seconds when in the call and this can be heard by the person on the other side, but this beep is not heard in the recorded file.
Applications: there are many applications for this phone and a large variety of games aswell ( I have 150 ) and these can be stored in the memory card. Wireless presenter is found in the phone and can be used to control presentations via bluetooth for example ( you need nokia wireless presenter on the PC).
Well there you go guys! I tried being as informative as I could and enjoyed writing this big essay! Hope you find it useful!
Advantages: Small and light, very easy to navigate. Disadvantages: Memory card slot is difficult to open and camera button is unusually placed
The Nokia 6233 has a 2 megapixel camera which does take very nice, clear shots. It is a little awkward to use and the phone has to be held sideways and the button is positioned to enable that. The camera features allow you to make your photographs black and white, sepia toned and negative colourings. It automatically takes advantage of any light available, which is helpful for pictures taken at evening but they are not of very good quality. The video ... ...lot of music on my Nokia 6233 and it has a very high quality sound. The music is quite quiet even on the loudest volume setting however. The radio, which is built in, can only be listened to if you plug headphones into the phone, but you can select a loudspeaker option. I don't listen to the radio because I have found that unless the headphones are positioned correctly I get a lot of static.
It is very easy to send text messages using this mobile ...

...or the latest games. The Nokia 6233 has everything I would ever want as your general, run-of-the-mill human being. I like to text. I like to make phone calls. I occasionally look at things online, and take the odd photo. The main pros are that the menus are clear, and I find I am quickly able to get to writing a message within 4 clicks of the same button, ideal. I especially like the fact that I am able to make this phone as complicated as I want ... ...these options are easily accessible. If you want to start getting techi, you can, you simply have to dig that little bit deeper into the sub menus.
The only drawback I have found to this phone is occasionally, through a combination of key presses during texting (a combination I have yet to figure out) my message starts deleting itself word for word. Obviously there is some kind of auto clear option, but I could not find out how I was triggering ...

Advantages: impressive features Disadvantages: quite chunky and not good for texting
This is a quick review.
Overall the Nokia N95 is a pretty decent phone. Pretty, easy to use, desirable. But I'm pretty fussy when it comes to my phones.
I had a Nokia6233 before this and its safe to say that that is the best phone I have owned, it was perfect and i thought it would be impossible to beat. That may still be true.
A big downside these days is the battery life with these phones. They give a figure in the booklet and the reality that it is half the life.
I admit that it is an amazing phone with great screen and camera quality, but is very costly.
Although the N95 is unique and technologically advanced there are still down sides of which the 6233 had none.
1. the slider is ridiculously annoying, it slides up and down fine but when open it wobbles when ever you press a button.
2. the ridges on either ...

Advantages: Stylish Look, Large Screen, Big Internal memory, Flash Light, Long battery life Disadvantages: SMS typing speed is little slow
I have used many nokia phone models - cheaper and expensive. Right now i have Nokia6233 and Nokia 1650. No doubt Nokia6233 is a good model. But to be frank I liked Nokia 1650 more than Nokia6233. Nokia 1650 is very easy to use and not bulky, even sleek in design. Now as a businessmen, I need a phone for just to make a call, receive a call, appointments, and sms. Which all i Get from this phone. Moreover its design is very stylish and bigger screen gives good look to the phone. Moreover there are some good features such as, The long battery life, Flash light, FM Radio, Personal Budget manager and the phone has a big memory to store the data. The phone also has a speaking clock function, which sounds good to the children. If somebody notes then take a look to the key pad and it is almost dust free. We can also say that this phone is ...

Advantages: fastest processor in any pda phone Disadvantages: bulky and heavy
Well as always a bit of background first?
The communicators from nokia were the first real pda phone being compared to basically nothing; they have stood the test of time to most other pda's. So it has some big shoes to fill, the 9500 and 9300 and before them were always the newest in technology, the cutting edge of mobile phones and pda's. The e90 has to be the best thing on the market at the moment for me no other phone has come near, and believe me on that because I work in phones so I've used the p1i.
Design:
Ok so looks well to be honest the front of the phone it looks like a picture of a nokia6233 with a red background don't get me wrong this looks good but slightly qwerty. The phone opens out on some strong and expensive feeling brackets which kept it sturdy it also is available to be flat.
So overall a good phone because ...
