I had one of these phones bought me for Christmas by my other half, I specifically wanted a Nokia, as they are easy to use and the customer service they offer is brilliant. All the ones I have had previously have been very reliable and also very strong and robust compared to some modern mobile phones.
Features
It has lots of features including...
Bluetooth Tri-band WAP GPRS Music Player Radio Colour Screen Camera Phone Voice Dialling Picture Messaging Vibrating Alerts Polyphonic Ring tones
It's a small compact phone the measurements are 107 x 44 x 13 millimetres and it weights only 91grams, the display size is 240 x 320 pixels.
Camera
I use the camera quite a bit it is a 2 mega pixel camera, images aren't brilliant but they are better that my old Nokia, I has features such as zoom and video as well. It also has night mode, self timer, effects, white balance and various other settings to help get the pictures you want. It's really useful for taking pictures of random things you might want to show other people whilst you are out somewhere and do not have a digital camera with you as obviously a phone is something you usually have with you everywhere you go. The camera is easy to use and understand making picture taking easy.
Usability
The phone itself and all its features are easy to use and understand, if you have had a Nokia before they do not differ a lot making it even easier. There is lots of information in the instruction book/user manual about how to use all the features your phone has so you can get the best out of your phone. It's easy to make phone calls and has lots of really useful shortcut buttons to get to what feature you want even faster.
Looks & Style
Unlike the normal Nokia 6300 this version has a white front and bit on the back with a stainless steel effect edge, buttons and back. The buttons are well set out adding to its good looks. It's a flat traditional style mobile phone which is the type I usually prefer as in my experience with sliding ones they often break. The numbers and letters on the buttons are easy to read and are not too small that it is hard to use them.
The display screen can be changed to suit your own personal choice and can be changed to personal pictures.
A few other bits
It has a really good battery life lasting around 3 days when used a lot, using the camera a lot does use it up quite a bit though. It is a very strong robust phone I have dropped mine several times and it has not broken in anyway. I always have a good reception from this phone using o2 all though it does not have an ariel as most modern phones don't reception and quality of the reception are brilliant nearly every i go, obviously this can be effected by buildings, tunnels etc. It is never slow though the menus and never freezes like some phones occasionally do. I've not had a single problem with this phone since having it at Christmas.
Price & Availability
These phones are available from most phone shops, catalogues, the internet and now even supermarkets, all though the white version is sometimes harder to get hold of. These can now be brought for around £70 which is really good value for money for all the features you get with it. They are available on all networks so if you want to change to one of these phones you can keep the network and most probably the number you currently have to make changing phones stress free and easy.
I would definitely recommend these phones I love mine and use it every day and it has been reliable and easy to use, I will definitely be having another Nokia as I feel this is the brand I am comfortable with and always have some of the best mobile phones on the market.
I hope this review helps anyone thinking of looking for a new phone or anyone who is not sure on what brand and model they are looking for.
