The Nokia 6300 is an outstanding, durable, slim and lightweight mobile phone. I've been using this for six months now and have not had any problems with it whatsoever. I personally believe it's the best phone I have ever owned. The large screen makes viewing and texting easy. Plus the 2megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom makes for some top quality images. Top marks Nokia for this one...with most retailers selling this for around £70 it's a bargain! This phone also has a real sleek design (see specs below) and has Bluetooth technology built in as standard, so you can file share with your mates!
There are four things that have impressed me the most about this phone and they are: 1. The casing (which is metal). Not only does this make the phone feel superior to plastic models it is possible to have the case electro-plated. I had mine gold plated so I could show it off to my mates! 2. The Internet/WAP capabilities are fantastic (although it can cost quite a bit and run slow sometimes) it is surprisingly good at surfing the web and downloading items e.g. games. I have downloaded several games onto my phone and none took any longer than 5mins. 3. I can pickup reception almost anywhere I go. Although this could have quite a bit to do with my provider I'm not sure. 4. Durability, I don't really take much care with mobile phones (I've broken three different models). But after dropping this on many occasions it's still working!!
There is one disappointment/fault however. The phone charger socket is way to small and the actual pin that goes into the phone looks really fragile. I've had no problems with it (Yet) but I do take extra care when plugging it in!
The last thing I must tell you about is the MP3 capabilities of this phone. One word, WOW! I have never owned an ipod since having this phone because it sounds too good! Ok, ok you can't have 300gigabites of memory so you can listen to songs continuously until you're 150 years old, But the memory card that came with my phone is 250megabites (about 30 songs) and I've found this works fine. If you want to upgrade I've found that also there are plenty of memory cards out there to choose from at competitive prices (you can get a 2gigabite card which will hold up to 1,000 songs!).
