Real life sucks. Just when one thing seems sorted another knocks you sideways instead. Gah. Slowly getting back to grips on here but can they please stop changing things?

Im sure its been mentioned before but I can be rather careless, so much so that a few weeks ago I lost my mobile phone, without having even left my bed! After three days of searching for it I gave up and spent some of my hardwon amazon vouchers on replacing the handset and sweet talked Orange in to sending me a new SIM (in returned I paid £15 plus vat, meanies).
The chosen handset was another Nokia simply because I'm enough of a numpty that any thing else would be painfully confusing. Rather than a direct replacement for my lost handset I went for a cheaper model paying £80 for this SIM free.
When it arrived I was impressed at its looks, having only seen the photos I was slightly concerned it would appear cheap, but it is actually a very sleek classy looking design. It is far slimmer than my previous handset and is much lighter making it easier to hide in the pockets of my combats or jeans. The screen is large, and doesn't seem much smaller than the screen on the 6500 slide I had previously and is certainly just as colourful.
Once charged I discovered that it with my typical usage last around three days before the battery needs recharging but with heavy usage it requires charging pretty much daily.
The basic functions are just that, basic and common to all current nokias, but I have fallen in love with the fact it has a tetris game on it and can often be found in my spare moments playing, another game on it which differs from the standard is one similar to the DS Brain Training range but I tend to get bored of that one not long after completeing the daily challenge section.
The camera on it is terrible compared to the previous Nokia, but I think thats mainly down to a lack of flash which since the only time I tried to use it was at the Aquarium meant the low light conditions have resulted in seriously grainy pictures (I still have good ones of smaller fish close up though).
One thing I can't decide if I like or not is the pair of LED's on the sides of the phone which flash when you have an alert for either a new sms, mms, answer phone message or missed call, but these can be switched off in the settings menu and dont appear to make any difference to the battery life.
Sound wise call reception is clear as long as you have a decent signal as with all phones where the signal strength is low the quality drops.
I'm unsure as to if I can connect it to my pc as I could with the 6500s as I have also managed to lose the cable for connection but once I rediscover that I will check and edit accordingly, but the handset does have blue tooth and does not bother with the now rather old school Infrared.
Overall after several weeks of typical useage I quite like this handset, I just wish I could remember my friends phone numbers so I have people to contact on it. But it does lose a star for the poor battery life as this is worse than any other handset I've had in years.

I do like this model, but it seems now that Nokia are throwing out new models rather than making memorable and 100% satisfying models like they use to be.

My friend has this one and raves about how fantastic it is, I now have an LG and don't think I'll be going back to Nokia, great review though
