It was considered as the update of Nokia 6300. Compared to 6300 the handset shape has a little changed but the performance has got better.
The handset has two options: one is a black covering, and the other one is a silver covering. The screen size is big as 45mm x 55mm and the weight is light as 96g.
The Nokia 6303 continues all the basic set of Nokia products. The navigation system is very clear and easy to use. And you can personalize as much as you want.
The basic features include making and answering calls, sending and receiving messages as well as voice mails and emails.
It also has MP3 usability and FM radio. You can download music from internet or transfer music from computer.
You can surf on internet any time with the mobile and also use its camera to take a photo. The Nokia 6303 classic has 3.2 megapixel auto-focus with dual LED flash and an 8x digital zoom plus video function. The 1GB memory card provides huge space to store hundreds of pictures. And you can transfer your photos to your pc via Bluetooth or USB cable. Or upload pictures directly online.
It also has preloaded Nokia map software and you can also add GPS to it. Not to mention the games and applications.
The last but not least the battery have super long life and only needs one and half hour to recharge.
Personal experience
I was given the mobile phone free by Orange Company and it was my first Nokia product. Also I just had used one Motorola mobile before. So I needed to learn how to use it. However it was as simple as ABC. Before too long I already knew most of the features.
From the outlook you can say it’s a cute mobile phone. But which colour you should choose? I chose the silver one because I think if you put two colours phones together you would prefer the black one that looks cooler, however if you just hold one in your hand you will find the silver one more appealing and the black one looks like a black box. So I strongly suggest the silver one.
I think the display screen is a good size and very user friendly. Personally I don’t like too big screen. Also I don’t have many messages so I feel the screen is suitable with me.
I played music on it and I think the voice quality and volume are both good. The pictures are displaying better on my computer than I see on the mobile.
I usually use 8 hours a day and sometimes I listen to Radio and MP3 music. I found the battery can last over two weeks. It is really amazing. Compared to many mobile phones that need recharge every 3-5 days the performance is really impressive.
However there are a couple of small items of the Nokia 6303 that I dislike.
One is the back cover. It is not easy to remove especially the first time. I had used long time to remove it but at last failed.
The machine is solid but too slippery. I dropped it over twice.
I should be more careful with the 1,2,3 keyboards when I type on them.
The Micro USB cable connector is too short. When I used it on my computer I had to hold on the mobile.
Until now I feel satisfied with the experience with the 6303.
Summary: not perfect but practical choice!Might be on other websites posted by myself (happysh2009 or Blossom)
Advantages: Lots of features, good battery life, sleek and elegant Disadvantages: Sound quality could be better, little else to fault at this price
I was fortunate enough to borrow this phone off my friend for about 6 months. The idea was that I would use this one until I was able to purchase my own. Well this telephone is certainly on a completely different plateau to my previous phone which I termed "the brick" In it's appearance it is very sleek and compact, with a distinctive styling and more importantly it is very light, a stark comparison with the brick. Upon flipping the phone up to open ... ...menu is easy to navigate around to, which is just as well as I seem to be quite hopeless with phones. In addition to this it contains all the basic features of a phone as you would expect but also includes an MP3 player facility as well as FM radio. These are nice features but in truth are there for convenience rather than genuine sound quality. However for those that do appreciate such a facility you are then able to download or transfer your existing ...

Advantages: I like the large screen and stainless steel finish. Disadvantages: A little heavier than the 6300.
...shame about the 3mp camera nokia could have put something higher such as 5 or 6mp. I found texting easy as I liked the buttons. Music player is very good too, store your tracks on the 1gb card that comes with it.Overall a good phone would definitely recommend it. If you are looking for something within a hundred pounds then I would definitely recommend this phone, it is worth it's price. ...
