Advantages: great music and accesories Disadvantages: none for me as yet
...I came accross the new nokia 6600 fold and liked it straight away.
I have always liked folding phones as cannot seem get on with these sliding phones and nokia has always been a firm favourite of mine so for me it was a win win situation. Once ordered it arrived the following day by courier.
I was with 3 and did look to go with a different company but in the end I found that 3 was giving the best offer for this phone ... ...My contract is for 18 months and I chose the 300 mix and match which gives me 300 minutes, I then decide how I would like them so I chose to have 250 anytime minutes and 50 texts per month. If you want more in your package you can choose the higher bands but for me the package deal suited my needs.
The price for my deal is £17.62 per month for as long as my contract but if you have insurance then it goes up to £24.46, if you want ... more

The price for my deal is £17.62 per month for as long as my contract but if you have insurance then it goes up to £24.46, if you want a higher deal then the price will increase. There are also extra's you could go for if you wish ie: internet max if you would like to access the internet.
My new phone comes in a choice of two colours either black or purple so I decided to go for the purple one as it had a bit more about it and it is a bit more feminine. The back of the phone is a deep purple but the front starts off silver and slowly grows to the purple colour with a beautifull high sheen to it.
When the phone arrived the contents included a black velvet bag to keep the phone in, a charger, headphones with spare ear pieces, usb port adapter, bluetooth adapter.
The phone itself is very stylish and has a gentle gliding open and close mechanism and is a deep purple colour inside, it has a 2.0 megapixel camera with dual flash, music player, fm radio, video calls, loudspeaker, video player, voice dial, wap browser, bluetooth, mp3 and installed memory card
As I open the phone the main page gives you a choice of radio, music player or menu, the first two speek for themselves so I will go to the menu which gives you:
Web: Once in this you can go into settings for browsing the web.
Media: This choice gives you your camera, video, music player, radio, voice recorder, equaliser and stereo widening so you can change whatever you wish to suit your music taste.
Settings: This gives you all the various settings on the phone and internet that you need, just set them to what you require.
Applications: This gives you games, converter, world clock and memory card storage.
Messaging: All your messaging needs for texts and e-mails.
Gallery: This section is for all your stored music files, images, video clips, themes, graphics and ringtones.
Organiser: This has an alarm clock with snooze settings, calendar, to-do-list, notes, calculator, stop watch.
Contacts: Keeps all your names and numbers.
Log: Stores all your numbers called, recieved or missed.
Maps: This is a great little service that means you will never get lost again just type in address and it shows you the way on the map.
EA games: more games for you to access.
When I close the phone again the time appears on the top as though through the phone and then dissapears, if I need to know the time again I just need to tap the phone gently twice and it magically re appears again.
I am very happy with the phone and love the simplicity of it, as with anything new I cannot stop looking at it and going into all the various sections and really enjoy being able to play the games and have the music playing at the same time. As for the music the sound is brilliant and very clear, I have already downloaded some music and set them as my ringtone and message alert, I have also found that the battery lasts quite a long time, I use my phone as an alarm clock so it is on all the time and I find I only need to charge every other day just to keep it topped up.
I would recommend this phone to anyone and hope you love it as much as I do, maybe the package is not for everyone but there are so many to choose from and if you go through a cashback site you could get a nice extra bonus at the same time.
Advantages: Sturdy, hidden outer display Disadvantages: Autoflip not always useful.
...software, it has the standard nokia things that come as standard. A new feature i'd not seen is the mapping, this allows a lookup from a postcode or area and a route to a destination to be displayed. This can be done without connection to the internet or using your data allowance. If connected to an external GPS system via bluetooth the system can place you on the map and do a complete route from your location. The maps can be updated via data transfer ... ...on there, the new version of snake is nothing like as good as the old one... but the inclusion of a demo of Tetris is a welcome addition. Overall I am happy with this new phone and it creates a similar weight in my pocket to my old phone which makes me feel even more comfortable. Folding phones seem to be quite rare nowadays but I was very happy that of the few that were available this is a very good phone. ...

Advantages: hmmm... Disadvantages: You do not have to open each time the phone will operate it.
Some Nokia products are released in two versions physically. One of these is the Nokia6600. This product was released with two different physical appearance: the slide and fold. And as a mobile phone with a slider form factor. Nokia6600 Slide is a decent enough consideration.
Although the screen is used here not too big, but for normal operation, this screen is sufficient. In addition, the display screen is also quite clear and sharp, so not too difficult when used. Leisure also use this place on the key D-pad button keypad and range in the second tier of the phone. With the size of the key, both in the front and the keypad, which is large enough, will not be guaranteed when the lower productivity need to input text which is quite long. ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: somewhat helpful Review of Nokia 6600 Slide
Nowadays, the most common types of mobile phone are either the fold versions or the slide version, and it is very rare that you can get a model of phone it either one, until the Nokia6600. My friends has used this phone and in partiuclat the sliding one, and has had for quite some time now, and as far as I am aware, she has had no problems with it. I have to admit, it is rather attractive, and much better looking than most other phones I have seen in the shops. It has a good size screen, and even when you are in the sun, you can clearly see what is one it, which is a problem I currently have with my phone. Easy to use, it wont take you long to figure out how to operate it, and when you do, you will discover how useful it really is. The one thing that I will say about this phone is that it has one of the worst batteries I have seen. Even ...
