And it's right messaging with this phone is about as hard as missing Jordan’s massive t**s but that’s a separate issue.

My dad got this phone yesterday as a new work phone, this is what he said he asked for " I want a nice practical easy to use phone that I can just phone people on with none of that silly business on, like redtooth and wip why can't phones just be phones" please this is urgent if I ever start to write reviews that resemble anything of what my dad says slap round the face with a wet kipper. Anyway so my dad gets the phone brings it home and asks me to set it up for him so I open the box switch it on, and everything’s done charged, simcard in and registered etc. etc. so I just decide won't tell me dad ill just play about with it for half an hour.

So after about half an hour my dad comes in,

Yep no problem, and it wasn't a problem at all it's so easy to use, especially with the navigation joystick thing.

Blimey he says it can do all that in one easy to carry piece of electronic equipment, he didn't actually say that if he did there would have to be a check from nokia hanging out of his back pocket.

The Nokia 6800 has lots of excellent features that are great for businessmen etc. so lets go through them

The Nokia 6800 has all the standard features, phone book: which is very easy to navigate around and add names, numbers and even business cards which means that u can have cards under that name that could, for example, show you which company they are from or of what importance they are etc. these can also be sent as a type of text message.

Which brings me onto the messaging section nicely. There are three main types of messaging sms: which are sent to other mobiles, which are easy to send, and on normal networks cost between 5 and 12 pence. Email: which can be sent to computer email accounts such as hotmail etc. or if another person has WAP on there phone they can access there email account through there and read the email. MMS or multimedia messaging service: which allows to send any kind of file from your gallery, which is a storage area on your phone, to other mobiles, they could be either a ring tone a picture or even a video clip. This is all well and good but it is hard to obtain pictures as there is no camera but you can buy a camera to plug into it, which is ok but picture quality is poor.

Next we have some more uncommon features although these are becoming more common on most new mobiles. Bluetooth: which allows you to detect Bluetooth devices with a radius of 40 to 80m depending on battery power.

Infa red: this allows you to transfer data such as clips or messages between phones as long as the two phones are next to each other and BOTH have infa red, this is very easy to use.

Games: although a person with a busy schedule will obviously not have time for a game of bounce this is quite good for other users. My dads phone came with Backgammon, bowling, bounce, chess and one other, which I know for a fact, varies.

Applications: on this there are a couple of separate features these include a calculator, a currency converter, world clock, database program and a voice recorder which is very handy if you don't want forget something. Again a smooth link to the organiser part of the phone this pretty standard really nicely laid out calendar so it's easy to dates and dates that have note and reminders on are highlighted. next we come to a bit music: the nokia 6800 has radio as well which is of reasonable quality and is capable of being listen to either through the loudspeaker, which is of average quality, or through nokia headphones or handsfree.

Now I think that’s all the phones features that happen inside the phone "but what about looks style and that fancy flip pad i've heard so much about" you maybe thinking, well your probably not. The phone looks pretty damn cool as you can judge for your self from the pictures. But the innovative thing about the Nokia 6800 is the flip out keypad which is laid out like a keyboard, just look down, yes that’s right look down it looks just like that thing in front of you. But a bit smaller but still very easy to type with despite the size. My dad who is hardly super texter I would say was able to type around 100 words in a minute if he knew exactly what he was typing. Even though this phone has this feature it does not mean you have to use it the phone has normal texting capabilities as well.
