Advantages: QWERTY keyboard, crystal clear reception, real ringtones, cool graphics and easy to use Disadvantages: Small screen
...me into contact with the Nokia 6820. My phone was free as an upgrade, however on a pay as you go tariff prices can range to in excess of £100.
My main attraction to the phone was the fact that it was available free as an upgrade, the way it looked, the QWERTY keyboard and the actual look. Not only does the 6820 have a colour screen which provides very good picture quality, it has a video recorder, voice recorder and a number of screen animations ... ...are all of the standard Nokia features and the size shows this. It is not the smallest in the Nokia family measuring in at 10.7cm long by 4.7cm wide making it just a fraction larger than the 3100 and weighs in some 15g heavier at 100g. The phone has polyphonic ringtones and the ability to play real music once downloaded. In addition to downloading songs from the Internet, the recorder incorporated into the phone software allows users to simply record ...

Advantages: looks great, never-ending list of features, excellent battery power Disadvantages: Poor picture quality, no covers or software as of yet
...like the silver finish. Okay, Nokia also need to bring out some new colourschemes for this baby because, as far as I'm aware, silver and white are the only available colours. It also feels good; that is, it's light, funky and fits perfectly in your hand. Then you flip it open...WOW! This is a brilliant idea from Nokia. It combines the rebellious look of other sideways phones with the sophisticated feeling of a business phone. The full QWERTY kerboard ... ...around three times faster than say, the old 3310 with the predictably ANNOYING T9 predictive text! One potential down-side is the fact that in order for the keyboard to be compact enough, the buttons are reasonably small. Not a problem for me but older, less dextrous people may find it a hassle rather than a pleasure to text on this beauty.
One big problem I did find is that, although the camera is probably high quality-I'm not very technical but ...

Advantages: Clear screen, QWERTY flip keyboard, no more annoying T9 predictive texting Disadvantages: Screen is small, only 4,096 colours, ugly as a rat's arse
...way it was presented: 'NEW! NOKIA 6820!' had it almost winking at me. I thought, "Nah", and went on my way. To my surprise, a few months later I received a gift parcel from this mate I visited that day, and guess what I find inside? 3 guesses.
I'm going to leave out the 'I was fated to have that phone' and get down to reviewing it. At first glance this phone is not very attractive. It's silver yes, but it's also got the most nastiest companion dull ... ...with a knobby nose. When Nokia designed this phone aesthetics was definately not high on their list.
This phone is very light though. It's about the same size as the T610 by Sony Ericsson but feels about half the weight. However the phone feels like it was made from cheap plastic melted off from an old barbie doll then spray painted for that more 'professional' look. Yes, that would mean if you dropped it, it would crack, smash and dent very easily. ...

Advantages: QWERTY keyboard - good conversation starter Disadvantages: normal txting is a b**ch, crap camera, small memory
...- mobile phones.
The Nokia 6820 is definitely the best phone I have ever owned. Ok, so I've only had two, but that's not the point. I noticed on lots of other reviews for this phone, people just listed the features. I will try and explain what all of them do, to make this review more helpful than others.
Normally, when reviewing lots of other products, I describe how they look. Well, no need for me to do that anymore, as I have a webcam so I can ... ...because I only had a nokia 3310 previously.
The Main Feature:
The main feature of this phone is definitely the QWERTY keyboard. What's that I hear you ask? Well, its like the keyboard sitting in front of you now. This phone has the letters A-Z, the numbers 0-9 and a few other essential keys like shift, enter, backspace, space etc. I have to say, when getting this phone out in front of my friends, they see nothing strange. Then, I pull off the front ...

Advantages: It's a Nokia Phone Disadvantages: It's a Nokia Phone?
Let's be fair it's a Nokia phone. That's the nuts and bolts of it; you either love 'em or hate 'em! That is probably the most important thing, and personally I love it. The simple fact is it's no better or worse than any other Nokia phone of a similar age in terms of what it offers for the hardware. The screen is poor basically, 4,096 colours is not many if we're being honest. The video and photo capture is equally unimpressive, but then so are the ... ...address book is the standard Nokia style one - easy to navigate and can store plenty of info and numbers. In terms of the memory of the phone you can comfortably store all the numbers you need (with multiple entries for each contact) and room for a good few photos if you choose to utilise the camera (which is unlikely given the quality). Now the big thing, and what makes it a cut above in my opinion is the flip out Keyboard "gimmick" although I use ...

OK so I've had enough with the many problems caused by my Nokia 8310 which is getting pretty old really -- so I thought why not buy a new phone to replace it. Having my Nokia 8310 on Tesco Mobile (cheapest network around!!), I thought I should buy a new more
