Upgrading from my Nokia 6280 I find that the use of the phone is identical, same menu and same menu options, though the calculator is under organiser and not applications, which caused a bit of a problem for about 30 seconds during a chemistry class! The fact that the calculator is a scientific one and not your bog standard is also really useful! Obviously as a previous Nokia user I found this phone easy to use but I think that the navigation is not particularly difficult and even other mobile brand users would be able to use it without consulting a manual and with little difficulty.
The standby and battery life of this phone is really good. There is no need to charge for almost three days and even then, the battery is only depleted by a minimal amount. As for talk time, I don’t think even I could talk long enough to completely run out the battery. It’s great.
This phone is definitely a looker: Coming in black/bronze or white/pink this model is all about looking good. Personally I prefer the bronze/black and thought that the other colours looked a little plastic-like, but this is obviously down to the individual. One other plus point: The phone charm that comes with is lovely!
The screen found on the outside of the clamshell design is fantastic: At roughly an inch square it’s almost the size of the main screen on one of my first phones and the image quality is great. From this screen you can navigate through the camera, music player and the radio options without opening the phone. There is also a lock feature to ensure you don’t start blasting your tunes out on the train if you don’t mean to!
Speaking of the camera…3 mega pixel and an unbelievable zoom, for me, I use it as an alternative to carrying a digital camera as find it a fine substitute. Beware however, that as the picture quality is so high, sending to other phones can be a bit tricky if they aren’t as new – the quality is too high for the phone to open. The video calling feature can be a little grainy but so are all the video phones I’ve used, this one is definitely the highest quality one I’ve had though.
The memory that comes with the phone as standard isn’t brilliant, a 128mb miniSD card is not adequate for my music and pictures, but the memory is expandable and so its not problem getting a cheap replacement memory card. Note that it’s a miniSD and so your old one might not fit, that is one problem that I had. You also will need a memory card slot on your PC for data transfer as a USB cable does not come with the phone (at least it didn’t with mine), this may also cause some problems.
The sound quality of the speakers is not too bad, though not brilliant and the volume could be a little louder if using without headphones. The headset that comes with the phone, however, is really good and the mic is pretty good if you aren’t using blue tooth. There is also a pretty pouch that comes with the phone that is meant for the phone but I keep the headset here. This phone is all about pretty accessories!
One slightly strange feature is the size converter. Find out what size clothes you need in any country! Not sure why we need that but its there and free so who really cares? There isn’t currency converter or the other kind that was with the 6280 and I do miss that a little but it isn’t an essential really.
Overall, I really like this phone and find it caters to my needs and looks good along with it!
Advantages: Looks Disadvantages: A lot of things: look inside
...video was better on the Nokia as well as some problems with the SE camera lens cover opening. I had also never had a foldable phone before and thought I'd give it a go.
First opinions were: Almost flawless design in all areas from the box to the hand strap. Definitely 5/5.
It didn't take long for me to realise however that there were many flaws that overpower the good looks...
First of all the build quality is not very solid. I've treated the ... ...of the phone can kind of be moved around slightly as if they were a little loose. This is getting worse and worse as I use it. Not very important, but annoying for an expensive phone.
Also the applications are rather laggy, and sometimes I have problems playing videos in full screen and have to restart the phone.
Then there are some major issues with the phone itself. The sound uptake on the videos and recordings are FAR from satisfactory. When ...

...this time it was the Nokia 7390.
I normally go for Sony Ericsson phones as I've always had a good experience with them but a few things caught my eye with the 7390:
-Camera: It's a 3 mega pixel camera which I think is the higher end of what's readily available in the shops
-Flip Phone: I always find it keeps the screen cleaner - I managed to get a huge scratch on the screen of my W800i within weeks of getting it! -Expandable Memory: It comes with ... ...and I was impressed that Nokia had put a lot of detail into the phone casing. It does come in a bronze and black casing also which also works well. There are so many 'fashionable' phones out there which are very eye-catching but the specifications let you down - it isn't the case with the 7390.
Now, I'm not really one for instruction booklets, so when I got the phone I just charged it and explored the menus. I found it quite easy to find everything ...

About The Phone
The Nokia 7373 is described as a stunning and compact swivel phone. It comes in pink and black. The pink one has stylish ethnic embellishments that really add a sense of class to the phone, they make it look more than just a plain old phone, it looks like a lot of thought has gone into the design of it. The plain black one however does not have the embellishments, which is really disappointing as one of the main attractions to the phone are the embellishments and without them there is not much design wise that makes the phone stand out, apart from the fact that it's a swivel phone and the little tag it has on the side which also adds class as other phones don't have anything like that on them.
The 7373 is part of Nokia's L'Amour collection, which includes, the swivel 7373, the flip 7390 and the standard 7360 ...
