The Prism is something of an oddity - it seems explicity designed to be a novelty item and to stand out from the crowd, rather than to offer any sort of functionality. Frankly, when testing a new phone i want to feel excited by the wealth of features offered, all i could find in this model was the ability to change the colour of backlight for the keys, which distracted me for only a moment.
The keypad was difficult to use; it felt cheap and tacky and was tremendously difficult to type on, the joystick was difficult to select specific items with, and the screen was too small for modern expectations. Frankly, one of the most exciting moments in my road-test was shutting the phone down, although i am not sure if this was to do with the novel shutdown animation, or the prospect of something more interesting to come.
