I was bought this phone last Christmas - and I have to say, I was rather wary. Not because of the phone itself, but because of the abysmal reviews!
I am happy to report that despite the bad publicity, I was quite satisfied with this phone - not amazed, but it was a lot better than I had originally thought. For an example, I was quite pleased to find that there was not so much as a scratch on the screen after accidentally dropping it down three flights of stairs in a multi-story car park at rush hour! This has to be the most durable phone I have ever had - but unfortunately, not without some disadvantages.
The battery standby time is of any average phone - but the battery talktime is appalling! If I am using the phone for any period of time the battery is drained incredibly quickly, so if I had to recommend it to someone, it could not be for anybody that is in constant need of it, but perhaps for somebody who wants an attractive mobile for emergencies and pickups!
The features of the Nokia are average. The internet is rather slow and the memory is not great, but there is room for a memory card (a must have if purchasing this phone), and the settings are easily changeable and quick to find. But, it doesn't come with a USB cable, so if your PC is not blueooth adaptable beware, the phone will not connect and it did not even connect with mine which is adaptable! Strange, and most irritating! What is more, it does have a rather annoying habit of randomly turning off whenever it feels like it - not a agreeable feature I must say!
To conclude I would say this phone is nothing special, so do not be deceived by the appearance! It was made to look good and kudos to Nokia because I think it really does, it just has no personality and is nothing new. I would not recommend this to anyone in particular, just because there is really nothing to get excited about. It is just an easy to use, good looking, durable phone. With a very bad battery.
