Nokia 7600

There are currently an estimated fifty million mobile phones in use in the UK (source infoworld.com), and with the recent sales of new handsets levelling out the phone manufacturers are looking at multi function mobiles designed to tempt us to trade in our older models and thus give them more money. I previously wrote a review on the 8910I, but my friend came over showing off his new phone which is the 7600. So the war between the top of the market phones began. The verbal war was extremely intense and after an hour of debate his phone won by a thin margin, well not according to him though. Anyways with this in mind, I decided to write a review on it. There are a few reviews on this phone already, so I won't go into massive detail on what every litte function does. Suffice to say, it has a pretty standard Nokia operating system, which shouldn't be too difficult to work out, along with your everday personalisations such as use what you like for the wallpaper or what colour scheme to use for the menus. The 7600 is nokia's offering in the third generation of mobie phones, those that are capable of using the new 3g technology. The main advantage of this new technology is the ability to hold a live video call on your mobile. Unfortunately this is not available on the 7600, however it can support the 3g networks as well as the normal networks. I bought this phone about 2 months ago from The Carphone Warehouse having spotted possibly the deal of the year. When I saw the 7600 for sale in the window for only £45, I immediately thought of licking the icing from the bowl after just making a cake – its really not necessary, and its definitely not good for you, but you just can’t resist, it’s just so tasty!!!
