Having had this phone now for about 2-3 weeks I thought it was time for me to share my opinions about it with you lot. Was going to do it a while ago but I felt I needed to learn about the phone and it features properly before doing so.

Right where do I start? Well I will start of with the one thing I don't like about the phone - the only thing I don't like about it actually...... It has to be size. It is quite a 'bulky' phone which can be annoying. You do get used to this over time though and I suppose it has to be this size due to taking the photographs.

Look Like?

It measures 10.5cm's x 5cm's when closed and when opened it measures 15cm's x 5cm. It has not got much thickness which is good. The phone itself is silver & black. On one side it has a button you can hold in to use the feature of voice activated dialling. On the pther side it has the button you press to turn the phone on and off. At the top of the phone we have a hole which is for the data cable to connect to. (Ihave not yet used data cable so therefore cannot comment, but sure I suppose the op aint about that anyway...LOL). Also at the top we have a microphone. Bottom?? - well just a hole for the charger to go when phone needs charged!

At the front we have 2 red ajoining circles at the top left hand side. These are to do with the infrared features. We also have 2 longish buttons which are used to select the menus and stuff. There is a little silver and black buttn which you use to switch between the 02 page that is on the phone or to go to the coloured screen menu. Then last but not least we have the tiny little joystick button which can move in any direction (like a joystick). This is used for lots of things - selecting menus, playing games........It sort of rolls to two buttons above that can be used for this reason into one to use that alone.

Screen?

On the screen when just beginning we have 2 options - 1 being camera and the other being favourite. Hitting the camera button will automatically open your camera and it is just a matter of getting someone or something to do the right pose and hit the joystick button and kaboom, you have a piccy! There are 3 styles of picture that can be taken - Normal - Portrait and Night. All are equally as good as each other. I tested the night one the other night whilst out clubbing and was very happy with the outcome. The favourite button just opens a screen where there is shortcuts to your favourite places on the phone. A bit like a computer I suppose!!

Menu?

Hitting that silver & black button I was saying abot opens your menu. Nice and colourful may I add.

Telephone

In here we have your list of contacts. To your contacts you can add house number, mobile number, work details, email address and fax. Basically all you need about a person. Really handy.

Log

In here we are guided to our recent calls - made, received and missed. Also we have counters for call duration, GPRS and call costs etc....

Messaging

Brings you to where you can sedn text messages or emails. Texts can be sent in 3 ways with this phone - Short message Multimedia message (MMS) or email. You then have your inbox, outbox, my folders (save your own stuff), Mailbox (for emails), drafts, sent messages and reports.

Camera

Here brings you to the same place where the shortcut out the front of the phone brings you.

Images

We have our images that we have saved or taken and also pictures messages that have been prestored on the phone by Nokia.

Calendar

Well I won't state the obvious here.....LOL

Services

Brings you to their WAP services. Very straight forward to use. Simply hit the button to connect and you are laughing. Go here to download games and stuff!

Profiles

You can make up a few different styles of incoming call alerts here. Personalise them to your own spefications, like loud or silent or whatever and then select the correct one at the proper time.

Favourites

Again like the camera leads to the same as the shortcut does on the front screen.

To Do

Just a little place for you to store things - like a reminder.

Connect

This offers you 3 ways to connect your phone to a computer. Bluetooth (these can be bought everywhere), infrared (cables needed for this also) and modem.

Extras

Notes
Calculator
Converter (currencies)
Recorder (your own voice or whatever)
Composer (ringtones)
Clock (setting for clock and date and also alarm)
About (in here just tells you the copyright etc, blah blah blah.....(never seen this on a ohone before though)

Games

Games given free are Snake and Mix Pix. Not bad.

Sim

Sim Directory (where you can find contacts)
Fixed Dial (preset numbers for fast dialling)
Contacts (once loaded from directory, contacts will be here!

Tools

Settings - Setting for phone - calls - Connection - Date &time - Security - call barring - Network - Accessory

Manager

Here you will find what sort of memory you are using on your phone and how much each section is using individually.

Applications

Here is where your downloaded games go to. So far I have Breakout adn Splinter Cell - both of which are excellent!

Voicemail
Call divert
Speed Dial

Now through all of above I feel I have told you enough about the features. All Ic an tell you now is where I got the phone and how much it cost. Well I ordered it online at www.o2.com. It cost me NOTHING because I got it with a new contract. Some places are charging for it with a contract so the cost will depend on where you buy it from. The contract I selected to go with the phone is called 'online 200' It entitles me to 200 anytime cross network minutes (which is grand) along with 500 YES 500 free text's. I feel personally this is one of the best deals going about at the mo. Though I know if this does not suit you can change your tarriff after a month. I though, will not be changing mine!!!

So there you go folks. I hope i have told you all you need to know. I would definitely highly recommend this phone and I know also a lot of retailers would too as many people are being told when ins hops that this is 'one of the best phones around at the minute'.

Hope you enjoyed the read. Thanks for taking your time to read it. Take care, have fun, Love Kells :-) xx

Good opinion. Might think of trying one out now. Just one thing though, you didn't need to go into too much detail about it's appearance, as there is a picture. Stefano

v. thorough (although I do accept that it seems that if you miss out a description of one feature all the FHs tend to flood in! Sal x
